So.. hear me out... Each class has it's own Pilot Legend that could use some of the abilities from other legends in the class (what's available/combinable would have to be controlled/limited, maybe even rotated seasonally). Or maybe they could build their kit from certain Pilot tacticals (either the same across all classes, or each class pilot has a unique set of choices) and from some of the class's legend's ults?

I made this rework idea/concept for octane and I’ve been sharing it around Reddit and KZbin and I want people to tell me what they think of it. Oh before you read the Rework, I was wondering if you could possibly mod this rework into this version of Apex you’re playing on this video, I would love to see this rework come to life in some way shape or form, and it would make me extremely happy and grateful. Anyway here my rework ⬇️ Octane Re-injected Abilities: 1. Passive: Name. “Just Like Navi” Octane improved his legs with new springs And gadgets allowing him to do a crouch jump. 2. Tactical: name. “Stimulate Spine” Octane has upgraded himself with a bionic spine with built-in stim injectors upgrading his Abilities walk speed increases to 30% and sprint speed increases to 45% and his crouch speed is increased by 1.75 meters per second after using tactical the first healing item used is decreased by 10%. 3. Ultimate: name. “Launch Pad” Deploy a jump pad that catapults users through the air. Users can press A in midair to double-jump New Perks: LVL 2 I can Fix That: Upon reviving a teammate Octane injects a small dose of Stim into his teammate giving them a small speed boost for 3.5 seconds. Or NOT STOPPING: Upon Stimming and getting a knockdown Octanes next Stim will remove all movement penalties. LVL 3 Rocket Launch: Gain 10% more movement speed and height on your launch pad Rocketing you forward even higher further and Faster. Or Insane Stunts: Stick any grenade to your Launch pad making it a land mine for any enemy squad an icon will also appear signaling octane. (pad doesn’t effect teammates) Well, there it is! I know this probably makes octane a lot more OP than he should be, but his title makes no sense to his abilities, He’s a (high-speed daredevil) There’s nothing about him That’s “high-speed” He’s just a little bit faster than everybody else. So I decided to give him the speed he had when you would stack Buster sword ult with his Stim at least I think that’s how fast it is.. But besides that I like his passive I made for him it’s a nod towards his Dead Rabbit 🐇 plus a crouch jump would be pretty cool! Let’s talk about the lvl 2 perks starting with (i can fix that) I always thought it’d be pretty cool if octane could give his teammates a little bit of speed not as long as he gets it but maybe half that time. It would make for some pretty interesting Clutches. And as for (NOT STOPPING) I think it’s perfect since every octane stims before getting into a fight then Knocks 1 and stims again to move onto the next. “second” Stim removes all movement penalties. I think that’s balanced enough. and if not shorten the time. Now for lvl 3 (Rocket launch) is basically “sigma stepping” but I made the perk before the glitch was discovered, not much to explain there. And my final perk (Insane Stunts) is just a perfect tool for blowing up a team chasing you, Or you can use it as a trap! And I think it makes a lot of sense for octane to use an Expensive for his “stunts” I mean he is a Daredevil. And I didn’t bother changing his ultimate since it’s good the way it is, maybe his new Ultimate could be A New Improved Mega Launch Pad? Like the Pads on E-District?? Or Give him a Complete New Ultimate, and also to be honest“skirmisher class” is kind of lacking so I honestly think that every skirmisher should have Horizon’s passive as a perk I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time someone’s passive has been given to someone else in a version of a perk, I just think that skirmisher needs two extra perks. Anyway I might also think of some more concept ideas for other characters/Legends In the future. If you have any idea, suggestions or thoughts let me know, and if you have your own Legend abilities or rework you’ve thought up please lmk I’d love to see it.

As in for the titans, one way i thought about it is, imagine there is an interest point on a map which has a pretty exposed area with a console, which when activating for maybe 10 seconds, will spawn a titan for you. Implementation of the grenade launchers might be balanced in a way, that they specifically have a damage multiplier against titans and maybe tridents. Because in an endzone when 2 squads are left and one just spawns a titan ontop of another is instant gg.

Great idea, I really dig the customizable aspect! They said they wouldn't bring wall running into the game because of counter play but the idea of just one legend doing it and it being limited as you've suggested kind of side steps (wall runs passed.. 👀) their concern (everyone being able to wall run, double jump AND have their whole kit could be hard to keep track of/play against; but just one legend, having it as part of their kit, feels way more viable) Another really smart thing to do could be to put in a mode (so like BR, Mixtape, and Titanfall) built around/using Titanfall mechanics and gameplay (like Pilot V Pilot, Pilots V Titan, Titans V Titans, Legends V Titan, Legends V Pilots) Edit: They could launch the new Pilot legend at the same time as a new Titanfall game mode and maybe even have stuff in the Pilot's kit (and/or cosmetics) unlockable via the Titanfall mode

There should be a Legends called Shadow with an Ult called Shadow Spectre that basically allows the Legends to become camouflage with the map. The tac could be a flash bang device but it's a high powered flashlight type deal

I like this idea but I do think the pilot needs to be a more fleshed out character with set abilities. Let's be real if a basic pilot with different pre-set perks became available we would all only use this legend and the game would just be Titanfall 3 lol. I want a new character that will maybe be somehow tied into T3. Still a very cool vid I love using the mechanics in engine and I do not think it's OP with a cooldown it just immediately works.

The last thing Apex needs is more legends tbh Its not like OW where its a teamVteam fight, where counters are appropriate and heroes are made with that in mind, the rostwr is large but all heroes have a use in ways that help the team In Apex theres simply too many legends for properly cohesive teamwork, some legends arent even played at all and Respawn dont bother buff those legends and nerfing the high pickrate ones liken Seer and Ballistic who you will almost NEVER see in a match while every goes Pathy, Horizon, Wraith and so on
