Hi there. I'm aslo a GA16 enthusiast from Cape Town, South Africa. Read up the build Mathers Motorsports did years ago. You will get a lot of tips for building a NA Ga16. Camshafts HEADWORK lightened flywheel. The big 3 for the GA16. ( From my experience alteast)

I think mine needs a heavier flywheel, that might calm her down a little lol, very lumpy and hard to keep smooth at low speed, but seriously awesome with the acceleration when I get traction 😄

Awesome choice of engine bro 👌, I didn't get high compression pistons for my GA16DE Pulsar, but I planed 2mm from the cylinder head, which by coincidence gives an extra 1 to 1 compression ratio for each 1mm taken from the head, on this particular engine, so mine now has 12 to 1 compression ratio and after I ground out the ports to template tune the new stainless steel headers, I have 126.5kw's (was only 75kw's), and wow it's really fun to drive now 😀 👍ps it was a bit higher compression than I wanted and cannot use any fuel below 95 octane 😄

@@G2GBuilds yes and as I always say "who needs a turbo and intercooler" I have a cold air collection that goes right down to the vents in the spoiler, and that makes a serious difference bro 🤗, especially on a cold night, I also love making headers work and fit perfectly with a twin turbo-flow cobie-resonators exhaust system, that isn't very loud, but it definitely tells you how well the combustion is working and how efficient it is, my brother is a mechanic with his own business and knows how much of a bullet proof engine they are, and you would have seen how the main bearing caps have the great cast iron frames to strengthen the block, so the bottom end has already been upgraded standard 😀 👍.

Que tal amigo? Puedes usar pistones de vitara o de honda D16 de tamaño 76mm. Hay que hacer modificaciones a la viela para w funcionen. Ejes de levas o árboles no tengo información. Si consigues algún dato, me dejas saber. 👍

Acabo de terminar mi proyecto ga16de+t tengo 190 compresión por pistón y se siente muy bien, en este momento tengo solo 3 psi porque mi bomba de gasolina no abastece las 8psi y el clutch me patina bastante. Turbo t25 garret inyectores sr20det, wastegate externa. Y más. Stock motor.

What piston rings size/oem numer do you have?In Poland only one size is for this engine but is it wrong (1.5x1.5x3.0),in my 16de oil ring in piston had size 2.7 and must enlarge it.Take care bro.

Oem ga16de bore size is 76mm. The pistons rings needs to fit the 76mm piston. I don't have any part number information. The piston rings on the video are suppose to work with the high compression pistons. Sorry!

Hey, I have a GA16DE, what pistons are those? You didn't say it on the video. Did you had to do any modifications to the rods to make them fit? What are the measurements?

Hey. Those are oversize piston from honda d16. The conecting rod have to be modified to work with the piston.

P29 pistons .40 over u have to send them to a machine shop to get a pin or clip put in and use the stock wrist pin or have the Honda pin cut to size

All the info I mentioned in the video. Pistons are stock bore size and I'll be using stock connecting rods with them.

You can get this one on eBay. They are 76mm for a honda d16. You can get them YCP or Nippon racing.

@@uncle_iroh4839 they are aftermarket, and they are .40 over standard bore. Again, they need to be 76mm to fit stock bore on the ga16, and you must send the connecting rods to get machine.

They are Honda d16 76mm (.40 oversize) high compression pistons. On ebay you can find either by Nippon racing or YCP. They are not a direct bolt on, and will need to send the ga16de rods to the machine work.

No hay que hacerle ningun trabajo a los pistones p29 como recorte adicional es nesesario cambiar inyectores o con los originales / vamos a hacer el cambio de garganta de sr20

A los pistones no se la hace nada. Hay que hacerle recorte a la bielas para que acepten los pistones de hondas. Aún no armó el motor, pues no sé si es necesario cambiar los inyectores, si es que vas a quedarte all motor.
