So caramel is just a worse sapfling (since it defeats the entire purpose of stallers) or a weaker winter.

Both of those plants are pretty mid IMO in Reflourished, so if Caramel is the middle ground of the two, I could see decent use out of him.

how is it a worse version of sapfling when caramel popcorn literally has splash damage and stalling

@@velky_reeds because the entire point of early game stallers is that they DONT do damage so that the next wave doesn't spawn as quickly, so you have more time to set up your defence to a avoid getting overwhelmed. Caramel popcorn has pathetic damage (so can't pass for a winter OR a sapfling as it will still kill basics) and is too expensive to be a staller

@velky_reeds it's so low (comparable to PEASHOOTER) that it can barely deal with cone heads. And there so expensive that you can't get many of them down early. It can deal with basics, which is a downside as they tend to spawn early, and their deaths trigger the next wave to spawn in, defeating the entire purpose of a staller
