From memory, other plants from China that eventually became international apart from carotillery are: -Venus flytrap from pvz online went to heroes -some fly swatter plant from pvz all starts went to heroes, but it has a blue bow on now -pepper pult was in pvz all stars first, but his pepper wasn’t on fire and his leaves were red -dandelion looks a lot like the dandelion from 2C that came before it -if you look up concept art for a pvz rpg, they included resistant radish in it

Tactical cuke kinda sucks, it doesn't do infinite damage, so good luck trying to kill level 3+ guardgantuars with this thing. Why did you rank horsebeans below dragonfruit (a literal copy of pepper pult) and Dino Roar Grass (literally just a chomper with a worse recharge)?! Monkeyfruit gets drastically good with leveling. I just got mine to level 2 and the jump is insane. On a side note, I mostly used instakill spam (a mixture of heath seeker, squash and lava guava) to beat the early levels, until I leveled up my costumed bonkchoy and phat beet to level 4.

Umm... No. About fire gourd, it's released first in PVZ 2 Chinese. Kungfu world is fully release 2014. Fire gourd might be released even earlier because when the world was first added, it only had the first part no world bosses, when the game is updated, they added part 2 and two bosses and in current version they removed Gunpowder Devil for some reason. Source: Pvz 2 Chinese wiki - Fire gourd and Kungfu world (Fire gourd is obtained in day 3 of Kungfu world which led me to believed that he is added in the first part and I also have memory of playing him before Jack O' Lantern is added.) And Jack O' Lantern is added in Lawn of Doom 2015 event! Source: pvz 2 wiki - Jack O' Lantern Edit: and yeah, safe to say that Jack O' Lantern is the upgrade and Fire Gourd is the weaker older brother of Jack O' Lantern.

Kiwifruit is also heavily used in the PVP Mode in PVZ2 CN due to how absurd how it deals damage and it's projectile stay in place. (It also summons a mini version of itself in certain upgraded levels.)

If you're looking for a version with more plants and worlds that's not as buggy as PvZ China I'd recommend the Reflourished mod which adds 3 new worlds as well as new levels for already existing ones

Pvz2 Chinese version is currently better than international version imo. The art style is consistent, the new events aren't just zombie spam arena levels, the new plants aren't usually only good incredibly specific scenarios or just straight up overpowered to the point of being not fun unlike the international version. Oh and the leveling system is much better, instead of just making gplants coast less and deal more damage they got unique abilities for each level

the level design is god awful though. worse than arena. and theres also the "lock and key plants" like jackfruit, flat-shroom, timid thorn, etc. in which their only purpose is to counter one world gimmick and one gimmick only. pvz2c would be good if it was actually polished gameplay wise. but every other aspect like art and animation is pretty ok honestly

Yeah well the chinese version literally has more content than in the american version, if only i was born in china to enjoy the chinese version, oh and speaking of, it also has worlds exclusive in the china version, like sky city, heian age, and renaissance age, so i might be thinking, why not rank every world in pvz 2, however we need to list things that do not consider for the tier list: 1. Chinese exclusive worlds such as sky city or steam age: as it is, we can't acess these worlds in the american version, it's only in china. 2. Worlds that are completely different like Penny's pursuit and the arena: these worlds are just for you to unlock the seedium plants aka premium plants that needs 200 or more seed packets to unlock, so it does not consider in this tier list. 3. Limited events that are based on holidays: they just use the holidays event, and most zombies in these events are clones of other zombies you encounter throughout the adventure mode. 4. Worlds from pvz 2 mods like pvz 2 reflourished or pvz 2 Alternate UniverZ So that might be the idea to rank the worlds from pvz 2 based on your experience Jake.
