19:05 the water path can easily slip into partial evasion with Pharm or Chunak for a full water team on day one. Velrick is more for chaos and greatsword builds. You could also make a bit of a Chaos case for Eliza or Eurel.

Before, the best unit to reroll was whoever was featured on a banner because you could max them out quickly and that was a huge boost of power for your account. Now that we get so many characters readily at lv99 or even lv120, I recommend new players to build Dark slash teams and pick the VCs that can enable such a team. For this end, I recommend rerolling for lv99 Vinera in the tutorial summon, then pick dark characters in beginner banners and select tickets, max the free Shadowlynx and Ranel, etc. For VC, Diabolos, the Muraga slash card, Ifrit, etc. You can also spend a bit for the 600 Sterne shards. Visiore can be used to get the +5 equipment for 500. This is a very fast power boost. I made such an account for fun and it's crazy good.

At least for the banners here, Dark isn't super well supported. Bronwell and Dark Fina will help, and you do mention several good free MR units too. They really do fill out well as an element based on free units, I totally agree

im returning to the game with a2 and cloud but i havent got jeume, my question is i dont have regular odion nor dark bahamut.. i have dark shiva, should i max it up now with tokens available next month ? i have howlet and a2 working now, cloud isnt built yet thanks

Yes, the agility boost is great and the magic orientation will help with Howlett and maybe Gilgamesh later. Cloud and A2 can get by well with other espers (besides Bahamut) because several specialize in Slash. I think Minotaur also goes light a bit for Cloud.

I created a new account and it is a lot easier now. I chose Light main and water 2nd. Better now that cloud and kadaj are out. I picked dark bahamut and bahamut on vc then chose some job vc for cloud and sephiroth.

Yeah i rerolled for the banner unit and vcs til I get them using the least vis. It is so easy to reroll now especially with the help of friend invite 10k vis, and will take only very few min unlike when I was rerolling 3 yrs ago lol
