While I understand the focus on the job synergies, it would be nice to hear a bit about elemental synergies as well. As an earth player that just got him I am really looking forward to trying him with AMont for the barrier break protection with VCs such as Dark Golem and Dark Titan.

I pointed out on RPW's review as well that OG Bahamut has the added benefits of having Crit Rate and Strike Res as well as the Magic and Man Eater, its an amazing choice for Gilgamesh

@JB79 Same. I skipped Sephiroth specifically for him but ended up getting him for free anyway. I will still run him with my GS instead of Katana, tho. Sephiroth isn't that imposing with 0 reincarnations.

Gilgamesh is the culmination of so many investments I’ve made from all the 2023 red mages, sglaci, Greatsword, and both Sephiroths. No way I could skip daddy brogamesh

what us debuff weakening mean? could u explain more plz, thx.

Debuffs are any Breaks of Imperils you try to lessen the opponents stats - for example -38% Slash Resist, or -20 Defense, -30 Area Resist or etc. Debuff Weakening let's say we have 50% on our character, those same debuffs mentioned before are cut in half so they would become 1-9% Slash Resist, -10 Defense, or -15 Area Resist. Hope that is clear.

Samurai VC is too skewed towards MAG-based VC and too few ATK-based.

Katana has really been shat on by it's last few units before Seph. Could Gilgamesh be the unit to finally make them viable at the top of the meta?

It would be ironic that a non Katana unit would take them there wouldn't it.

Katana's potential is more in mixing than mono, just like red mage. Gumi has laid the groundwork with VCs 2nd to none.
