@hera 9:20 he might have been thinking about mongols castle tech later ? because you could argue that mongols are the only civ that can make a house wall and turn it into an actual wall with no downsides if lost "although i know the tech is actually too expensive compared to just having houses and is not good"

@@skipper472 For some reason he just didn't play ranked but have played 100's of unranked/automatch games, and community tournaments/games. So yeah he isn't a newbie or beginner but just didn't touch ranked for some reason.

My first game was brutal, just got knight rushed while im in fuedal without any idea how to defend myself since i didn't play this game for 20 years. Quit league to come back to this gem, refused to watch any videos at first cause i wanted to learn on my pace and just enjoy it but i'm used to only playing ranked in league, dropped all the way to 350 than after like 5 months peaked at 1150 and dropped to 900, this game is fucking hard. i enjoyed it way more when i just did my own thing at 500-600 elo.

Hera - I am around 1100 elo, the reason why houses at the front of the base are critical are the obnoxious siege tower strats dropping infantry into the base.

How do you play ranked match in Conquest mode with low resources? Only option it gives me for ranked match is Deathmatch mode with high resources (20,000 of each resource) which I don't want

ive been using this same build order to learn in bot games atm. just started beating hardest but havent quite managed extreme yet. but im curious, my hunt always seems to last must longer than this no matter what civ i play, im curious if im doing something wrong?

my first ranked game was in the future, but i doubt it will be as clean as this 11. i can do most of this things vs AI, but i use pause all the time, i cant do that many things in real time (without screwing up) low APM i guess, id love your advice on how to stop depending on pause to do things maybe its as simple as organize better idk.

I’ve been playing this game since the very first CD came out. Absolutely love it. But I’m a coward. I’ve never played on line against a person. I’m not even sure if my computer or connection is good enough. I constantly beat “Moderate”, and 50% of the time on “Hard”. Question: could anyone explain or point me to a video that explains the after game stat Screens for on line play. There is so much more than when playing…..with my self.

I'm a little over 1000 ELO, and Joettli's gameplay seems comparable to my own: though he probably doesn't have the same weaknesses I do (I tend to play far too passively).

What the Scandinavian guy said on this thread it’s to prevent your villagers from going on a rampage and killing a bunch of sheep accidentally, they lose gathering access they’ll just attack other sheep.
