The weather and terrain pokeballs should have an extra effect: If the Pokémon caught in the pokeball has an ability that summons weather or terrain, the don’t have to hold the held items that extend terrain and weather because the pokeball does it for them.

these are mine! Horde Ball: Catch all pokemons in a horde encounter Layered Ball: If it breaks, it'll automatically catch the pokemon again (in the same turn)it last 5 times. Always fun to come up with pokeballs; dawn, stat, evo and plus I had thought of, also one for all climate conditions and one that works best at the end of a horde encounter ; shrink, trap and minus are very clever; para and knuckle look awesome

I have an idea of how the pre pokeball areas went, based on the anime and legends of Arceus. I believe that Pokemon catching started with a apricorn made club and mini sack (a pocket). The club triggered their shrink defenses mechanism while the guy drops the sack on the Pokemon, and they had to hold the sack till the Pokemon submits. Then came the apricorn made mini cages (seen in season 1 of the anime), the methods capture and contain vary. Then came the Poke- staff (seen in the Lecareo movie). The Poke- staff has some elements that are used for the modern pokeball.

I have an INCREDIBLE ideas for a Pokeball, the Contract Ball. increases the catch rate of Dark-Type Pokémon. it was inspired by the Tom'N'Jerry episode where tom sells one of his nine lives for a bobsled. as well as the depiction of warlocks in WoW.

Fusion ball: After you pick this ball, it prompts you for 2 other pokeballs (you cannot pick the fusion ball again for this, or the same ball for both halves) and runs the calculation using both ball's stats. If you do something like a dusk/dawn ball (4x effective in correct time of day) and a terrain ball (3x in matching terrain/room) then it results in overall 7x effective. It does use up all three balls, so no duping master balls with this trick.

great idea. I had this exact problem in X where I randomly ran into a Shiny Zangoose in a Seviper horde. It got killed by the final Seviper (since I had to knock out all the other sequentially before ballls could be thrown)
