Badmannerkorea : the world will not end the day you die. In the far future there will be new sources of energy and petrol will not be used because it's not very efficient at all. 66% of energy lost in a full tank of gas in a car. Electricity is the near future and people won't care about the beautiful sound of a 6 cylinder naturally aspirated because anyway only a few people can afford those brand new Porsche with 6 cylinder.

Taycan doesn't sell enough for Porsche because people want SUV's. Wait a little and you will see that macan EV and cayenne EV will sell very well. This boxster is a leisure car so i have no idea if this EV version will sell as much as the ICE version.
