I've been watching that line going down Santa Ana Street sitting on the corner as a 5-year-old. I would sit all day watch the good old Southern Pacific. When the beats would come in I would walk to school they would be all over. Lucky enough to grammar School with the windows showing the train passing. Oh how I miss Mars lights on foggy mornings and at night. Great video I love our neighborhood

I also remember the good old days of SP.I have fond memories of non EMD locos that would show up now and then,Alcos,Baldwins.I especially liked the Baldwin s 12 switchers with the huge mars lights on each end.

If the "artists" had come up with an avant garde interpretation using the UP colors and applied it as diligently, they probably would have been paid for their efforts.

The old UP, SP, and AT&SF would not have put up with all the graffiti! Today’s UP and BNSF really don’t care! Not one bit! Unfortunately.

Yeah, seems to me though that BNSF has less graffiti than UP, but still, its bad.

nice vid of urban switching... and at 19:22.. we see why those motors are so tagged up... UP parks them right out in the open no fencing or hidden away or nothing... UP literally saying, "come and tag me"

I was just thinking this complete line has been welded rail. I think UP dump tons of money into it. They'll probably start using six wheel trucks

The graffiti on those loco’s is pathetic! I work for a railroad and think I would refuse to run those loco’s! I believe that’s a FRA violation to have that much graffiti on any railroad equipment. When the identification markings are not visible then it’s a violation.
@kysonindustries263119 күн бұрын
