I think for glass only its okay. The rinse can take dirty from the frame on the glass. Dirty frames are always the problem when you use wfp. I ordered one and i will see if it really works.

@aemackintosh Жыл бұрын

@evgilliand Жыл бұрын
Scratching 🤔 same thing been said about the original Wagtail Wave since day one a number of years ago now. … NO it’s not an issue as water is constantly flowing over and through the pad… (just don’t rest it against raw brick or on gravel between windows 🤷♂️)the refined version of the Wave is the Reach-it GeForce… much more durable and the angled ends are there for a reason… it’s makes it EASIER to get into the corner of large glass panes. And also with white or grey pads on that tool scratching is a non issue. These aren’t everyday tools… large frameless commercial or glass balustrades and large glass panes on modern homes… there are more sensible choices for bulky frames and smaller glass. This tool is not revolutionary because at least the two mentioned precede it and DIY guys have been experimenting with similar ideas for a few years now, but it appears well constructed using high quality plastic mouldings and an Aluminium extrusion. The velcro strips on the base are much tidier and easier to replace than the godawful self adhesive velcro that currently is used on these tools. …and no it would be problematic for indoor use, very difficult to control water overrun.
@aemackintosh Жыл бұрын
It had more cleaning power than I expected actually, but I would like to see a wider range of different pads.
@evgilliand Жыл бұрын
@@aemackintosh The issue we have when we try a new tool for the first time is that we compare to what we are used to… whereas we need to simply judge it for what the manufacturer designed it for… going back to the original concept of the Wagtail Wave… microfibre pad only and worked fine but is improved if you swap out for the white scrub pad… Byron Guests much improved design (Reach-it GeForce) really shines when using with of his scrub pads (white and grey) … this Unger one shows real potential (although I believe they’ve fallen short with the handle angle) BUT price is excellent and it shouldn’t be roo difficult to add different pad types.
@grahambeadle5809 Жыл бұрын
Looks like more drag and friction between pad and glass compared to fibre bristles. Another pointless gimmick id say trying to use the indoor systems for outside. But yes your right Ashley, ask the experts first. . the ones with decades of experience.
@aran7teen Жыл бұрын
Seems pointless to me. I can’t think of any situation where id have my wfp in my hand and think of going back to the van to get this tool out. And, if I was inside, I’d opt for trad tools all day, not risking spraying water everywhere 😅
@aemackintosh Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think there will be commercial contractors with staff that don’t want to be trained to use a Trad tool when it could be easier to just give them this instead.🤷🏻♂️
