@@TheGrangeCollector 15min at 60 it is. Thanks for the info. But yeah, I wouldn't call that an air dry clear

@@TheGrangeCollector most clears will air dry in 8 hours to be fair. I'm comparing it to Standox Xtreme clears which you can fit up in 30min with no bake, high gloss etc. polish it in an hour, no bake.

That clear looks real nice Gunny! you have the skill to make any clear look good but this one must be better for you as you don't need to try as hard to get your usual flat and glassy finish👌it's about time ppg are getting some better products out there lets hope there are more to follow. I'll be interested to see how you get on with that one visit modifier as I know of one person that doesn't like it🙏👍John UK

Glad you said that about the 136 clear, we had to you that at tafe. I was just like why is it so thick n to spray on nicely 😅

Will you be releasing a video on the 177? I'm painting cars without a baking system and would love to know if that clear my be my go to. I've been using Challenger Clear for the 9 cars I've painted thus far

Hey @TheGunmanChannel just got a DV1s after your review with the S1+ cap to use at home. I know you said you liked the 1.0 needle with it, what clear would you recommend to use with it in Australia. Mostly spraying over water-borne base.

@@hoskoau any clear that isn't too thick, there are so many to choose from. If it's a cold day great it up to make it nice and thin. You can also try add a bit of reducer if you need to. Standox standard clear is a good one, cromax chroma clear is another good one.
