I added a smart usb switch to turn it on and off through google home and it is really reliable just takes about 30sec to connect to the phone after I turn it on through home

Hi Susana, I contacted Furbo this week (May 2023) through the app and they let me know that due to very high demand, the Furbo Mini is only available to Furbo Nanny subscribers for an extra $10 added to the annual fee (limit one Mini per household). I already had the $69 annual subscription so they just charged me the $10 difference, and going forward my subscription will be $79 a year. I wish it were just a one-time price (on principle) but the idea of it being $50 over five years isn't too painful to swallow. (I'm sure it'll give me far more than $50 worth of peace of mind in that time.)

Does the Furbo mini allow us to hear our dogs in general besides when notifying us when they bark?

Yes it does! If you click on the camera and make sure you phone sound is up then you should hear anything in the room

I'm not sure but I think you do have to have a regular furbo already to purchase the mini. If you have one already then you can reach out to their customer service to see if you're able to purchase just the furbo mini.

Don’t waste your money on Furbo. The “ease of set up” is a lie. Had mine for hours and I’m still online trying to figure out why a connection light won’t come on at all.
