Man that is a cool truck. My cousin had one of those trucks that he bought from somebody that was moving. It was a cool running truck. The truck look in pretty good condition. I like how the whole entire family went for a barefooted 👣 ride in the truck. It's going to be a cool truck when you get done with it.

One thing I keep thinking to mention is for cleaning anything on that truck from rugs to the engine... I use some stuff called TSP or trisodium phosphate and the stronger the better. You put that on say a greasy kitchen wall where you cook at and the grease just starts melting off., same with interior stuff an on any greasy or smoky stuff. I don't think it will take off no spray paint but if you put it on something and then don't wash it off, you have a harder mess to clean so put it on, scrub an then wipe or spray it off. I got a old trailer house with that thin paneling in it... it had smoke damage and I got it cheap. I sprayed it on with a hand pump and that smoke came off leaving nice paneling behind

Makes great sense to me to lower a 2 wheel drive truck and give it a little attitude. Not like your dropping a one ton 4 wheel drive stump puller! Good decision in my opinion

I had a 86 Chevy k20 custom deluxe with a vin m 350 heavy duty motor,it had the newer plug alternator and a serpentine belt for the water pump and crankshaft pulley, but the v belt for the smog, alternator and power steering pump. Ac was long since removed. I've owned several gm square body trucks few were as clean as that one,or as original.

✨FYI.... When you run a heavy thicker oil you need to keep in mind as to whether that oil will go through the oil filter so you don't starve the upper end... I've been there done that ... Not good. (High flow filter)✨👍

No, Russ looks clean, whoever owned it took good care of it. I'm not seeing a whole lot of body damage on that thing just it was well used but it looks like a very clean body. Few dats but I think if you fixed it up and sell it, you get your money back out of it plus more. I'm a Chevy man at heart. I have an 85 blazer. 76 3/4 ton, 4 world drive 90 ninth, suburban. 68 Ford F one hundred half ton with a three ninety in it

Square bodies are pretty cool,I've done a boatoad of those over the years,rockers,cab supports,corners galore,and of course bedside wheel openings. They make plenty of stuff for them too,they're popular is why I suppose. Hope yall don't get Chevy cooties on ya from working on GM products.

These engines were bad about drain back holes in heads getting stopped up if oil isn't changed as scheduled , Causing excessive smoking
