Chip, I never forget when you said that your Dad always told you to pay attention to the details. And there you are fixing little details like a sharp edge on the wheels, still following your Dad's advice. I too follow your Dad's advice and I've learned that little details are actually a big deal!

The chief engineer of the Lincoln vehicle office back the late ‘60s always lectured his team on the importance of “TREMENDOUS TRIFLES”. He also included features in his cars, not mentioned in the advertising, to “SURPRISE AND DELIGHT” the customer.

Just came across your channel! I loved watching your TV content (Overhaulin' was a killer show), now I can deep dive through your content here. I have a 2010 Camaro SS2/RS ABM, a replacement of my original 2010 SS2/RS which was stolen while on a trip to Atlanta (now I know what'll make a grown man cry...). Back to stock for now until I get some extra revenue to start the mod journey again... one day, one day. Thanks again for your videos, love your down to earth vibe Chip. Thanks for sharing with us all :)

Man oh man, Chip we are all so lucky that it was you who found this car and you taking us along to see the master show love to a well deserved Barris ride, kind of crazy to think stuff that is and nobody knows about, I have lived within 50 miles of North Bend since 1960 and the countless times being in North Bend I must have been in the area or who knows maybe really close once, it's truly been cool to see I can't rate it because it would just have to go shoulder to shoulder everything you touch or do.... Top step!

This is so cool. I was wondering if maybe for the gold resto, you could take a page out of the portrait painting restoration book and cover the original paint with a clear barrier that's easily removed but won't hurt the original paint. That way you can work with different shades until you hit the perfect one, and if anyone ever wants to remove it, it can be done without hurting the original paint. I dunno. Just an idea.
