He is SO cute! I think you're right - with some conditioning, weight and muscle he will be a very cool horse for someone. Also, Sunny has the biggest heart. Bless her

He looks like he could be really lovely. Glad you mentioned chiro and body work - his hind end looks wonky. Poor guy. Looking forward to following along with his journey.

I agree. The over-tracking and spinal/hunter's bumps are some red flags for sure

Hey Jill! Love that you are spreading the word of +R.. I have 2 OTTB's 26 and 30 yrs old. You never know what they have endured at the race tracks throughout their careers. Danny is beautiful! And I'm sure he will be a much happier horse under your care! Look forward to seeing the up coming videos and following his progress! 🤗

That is awesome to hear you have a 26 and 30 year old! My OTTB is 23 and I had the intention of buying a young horse to start and I ended up with her now I’m just praying I have 10 years with her at least

Sorry for asking how Can u see that he is under weight ?
@Isabella-ic4io3 жыл бұрын
If you wanna know if a horse is underweight you wanna look at the ribs, they usually shouldnt be this visible. Also you can see that his hind end is very skinny and the bump in his neck just in front of his withers is also a sign. Hope this helps :)
@Vicksen803 жыл бұрын
@@Isabella-ic4io my horses ribs are showing. But only like a little. And the rest is fin. But i am still worried. But he is on a healthy diet. And gets. 2 hour off grass every Day. And wrap (hay) one time and about 2 kg
@Isabella-ic4io3 жыл бұрын
@@Vicksen80 If you aren't sure if he looks okay just go and ask somebody a little more experienced how he looks to them. And also there are horses that don't gain weight very easily. I had an off the track thoroughbred who was very high in energy, he eventually looked fine but he needed more hay than the other horses. And of course light training helps gaining muscles, but he might need even more feed then.
