Doing a total tearoff of the roof. Had mine done a few years ago. Good choice on plywood versus osb. I had a tin roof put on with 4 inch overhangs. Don't put your foot through the ceiling like the contractor's helper did.

You are making a garage with an attached shop! You may put some food storage area in it too for the 'pantry' stuff that you do not have to worry about mice getting to.

My guess a new roof..when we built our log home, we bought sub floor that had a rubber substance built into it just incase we didn't get the home enclosed..logs and roof..and did it pour down on us almost every day..logs got installed. But the roof was at a much later date to getting it dried in..but we used the same material on the roof as the subfloor....and then we had a metal roof for the top layer....we just wanted that extra security on the roof structure.......

So I know this is off topic but a wile back you had said you have 25 of them plastic 55gal barrel's so as I'm sitting at work watching videos you may think of taking 1 of them and make a compost barrel for your greenhouse ! Have a great day . God bless

Iv seen ones you put on 4x4 posts using a barrel with door cut out and holes for ventilation with a pip in the middle to be able to rotate it faster composting just a ida you all are doing great job god bless
