Thanks Joanne - such a relief that dad is getting better day by day. Have fun looking through your stash and getting started (sometimes that is the hard part when we have so many ideas) but the great thing with slow stitch is we can always tweak our ideas or plans as we go. Trav sends a nose boop as he is sprawled out on my lap on the Chou h while I have my morning coffee. He still thinks he can fit in my lap like when he was a small puppy 😆 Have a great weekend. Very creative ideas! I like the second one best - but I might be biased because of the Morris & Co fabrics! 🤣 That idea reminds me of the Victorian and Georgian curio collections. It would be fascinating for a future treasure hunter to find. The tulip fabric make me think of the stories about tulip hunters of the past too! 😂 I’m glad your Dad is still improving. It’s good to hear of his progress. It sounds like a fascinating project idea, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops.

@creepycutiecrafty2 ай бұрын
@@createandcraftwithchristine it’s fascinating. There was a fashion for rarer and rarer tulip colours or petal variegation. The drive for the most patterned petals was an odd one - the more variagated the petals, the thinner the stems… I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions! 🤣 Just… maybe don’t look up the orchid hunters… 🫤 (I’m a bit of a history researcher by nature. I tend to find quite a few oddities. I’m trying to add them to my own videos! 🤣)

Lovely ideas! For us Americans The A4 size paper measures 8.27 x 11.69 inches, only slightly larger than the close equivalent to U.S letter size 8.5 x 11 inches. I personally had no idea what A4 was all about when I first started watching these brilliant creators…and I still have to look it up to be precise. But I just think of it as a letter size paper. ✌️🤍
