The 26-27 engines are good engines. One thing that makes them good is the correct hogs head has ears on the top that bolt to the engine block and makes the engine and transmission one solid unit. I would suggest you source a 26-27 hogs head. Other than that, it looks in good shape. I'll be interested in your progress. Cheers from the shed
