Thanks for taking us on a ride! I installed a heater in my 29 this November thinking I would take it out until they sanded the roads. Snowed quite a bit this week so it’s away until the street sweepers come out. Have a great Christmas! 🎄

These old cars are lovely to drive in the winter. Not so lovely to start, though. I often find jacking up one of the rear wheels helps start the Model T, does the same apply to the A?

No, not really since the T has bands in its transmission, it helps, but the A has gears so that wouldn’t really do anything. I don’t usually have trouble starting it. Just give it some choke and enrich in the mixture.

You have to double clutch to avoid crunching those gears. Be kind to your car
