Nice little project mate. I've got a 4 stroke honda PC-50 which I had to do the same with, came with no paper work. I got a certificate of age from Honda which took about 4 weeks, then I also had to get a NOVA certificate but luckily I didn't have to pay any import duty. I've just sent off my V55 now and hopefully the next thing I get back is a reg! Make sure you get a case number from DVLA and definitely chase them up if you don't hear anything. I waited 6 weeks and 2 days after I phoned for an update I got a letter in the post...

You will need a dating certificate, then two form to fill in for the DVLA and a £55 fee, it will take a while, but you should get it. When you complete the forms send them to "Kits and Rebuilds" dept. They know the story with barn finds, anywhere else will give you the runaround! Good luck and nice little find there!
