Hopefully you can order a second one, just to see if in fact you did get a lemon. And then compare the two *before* the first one gets serviced/fixed by PSA (unless they just send you an entirely new one), along with a follow up of the first one *after* it’s been taken care of by PSA’s customer service. The gun looks really nice, such a let down that yours is a bit jank. Like you, my Dagger has been good to me thus far. I did have one issue with the trigger not being able to fire, and if it did randomly fire it would not reset. But that was due to my own fault. I accidentally bent (ever so slightly) the connector (probably when removing it from the fire housing). Didn’t know what the hell was going on, found out what things can lead to a non-firing/no reset trigger. Gave the connector a slight bend back and it was back working like normal. I like to tinker a bit, and even though it was my fault, it was a little learning experience for me. By no means am I some firearm buff, but I try and learn about the weapon a bit more than your average Joe, but not enough as an enthusiast 😅 Channels like yours help me learn more, so I appreciate the things you do! 👍🏽

A rule of thumb for those who value reliable products: With PSA, never buy on release. Wait a few months to address tolerance issues.

Honestly I use that rule as a universal truth. After issues with a brand new Glock release I stopped buying first run products, it’s worth waiting for the reviews and subsequent fixes!!!

I finally had a chance to visit the palmetto state armory store in Lexington. I drooled on my shirt, but they told me they are selling these things like hotcakes and the case was empty as of last Wednesday. Everyone in the store and the range obviously just loves where they work! I’m positive they will get the bugs straightened out.

@@joemiller410 I just don't think a mag well a flat trigger shoe and a fancy paint job Is worth twice the money. If it's your first Glock style handgun get a Glock unless money is an issue then by all means buy a dagger.

I was in between waiting for the Sabre dagger and and the regular dagger. So many conflicting videos with problems so I just decided to pick up a Rost Martin RM1C. Had it at the range every weekend for the past 2 months with over 2000 rounds, 12 different types of ammo….zero failures

Im pretty sure your gun there is oversprung (recoil spring) because of the lighter slide. Its causing a slow slide speed, inducing issues. Try like a 12-14# recoil spring (if you want to fix it yourself, PSA should have done this already). On my Glock with all the slide cuts I run a 11# spring.

That camo cerekote is awesome. Too bad there are QC issues. Hopefully, they can course correct. I'm not sure it's worth the extra 3 bills, although that trigger looks like a step up.

Had to contact customer service too. My issue is the screws don't work with the screwdriver provided for the optic plate and the mags don't eject. Have to pull them out

Sabre Dagger was kinda pointless. We’ve all built our daggers to Sabre type details and specs. There have been a ton of quality control issues reported in Dagger forums. From the plate screws not fitting, to the cerakote peeling off. I hope they fix it, but what does the Sabre do that my Dagger doesn’t do? You can get all the upgrades yourself and still pay less and know it’ll work.

I got the Rock as soon as it came out and it had to be replaced twice. I've heard that the more recent Rocks have been very good but I'd never buy something from PSA as soon as it comes out again, I'm the same way with Sig too, I had far too many issues with my p320 and 365 which I also got as soon as they came out.

Woodland and m81 woodland are the bees knees. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the regular dagger having a weak finish on the barrels and slides. Maybe the sabre has a better finish? I guess we’ll see before long. Great video as always

I am not a fan of those pmag extensions. The extension costs as much as 3 pmags. They should have done a budget one like strike industries $20 extension. I definitely love the sabre dagger do. I ended up getting that deal on the 3 lowers do so i plan on turning that larger one into my own sabre 🗡. Might even do a micro sabre 🗡 😂😂😂

I've had zero issue with pmags in all my Glocks. However, I only run Glock mags in my 43.... that platform seems to be picky so I didn't want to trust anything else.

Yea, use them for training then. I run pmags and kci out of my non glocks guns that take glock Mags with no issues. But I have a 27 round pmag that is essentially for training only but i have had no problems

I got my Sabre dagger yesterday, same color way. Was able to put some rounds thru it right after I picked it up. Only had one ammo brand on me, but was running into the same issues you’ve mentioned. Sometimes had that weird ejection pattern, failure to lock back and occasional misfeeds. With all of that being said I was only able to put 150 rounds thru it, so I want to run it some more with different ammunition and some oem Glock mags before I start thinking about contacting customer service. Thank you for the review, will definitely be looking for that video after you get it back!

@@jprep1025 good to know. I had a single Glock oem mag on me but it has a strike industries extension on it and surprisingly the mag wouldn’t seat. The back lip of the extension gets caught on the Sabre’s flared mag well. Maybe I installed the ext. wrong but I don’t think so as it functions fine on my other stock dagger. I’ll switch over to some stock stock 17 rd’rs next time I’m at the range and see if that helps.

Ya tbh it's not worth the extra money. I honestly build my dagger from the ground up and got basically for 240 with deal, than got timney trigger and mag well with optic, upgrade mag release and even added a thumb ledge to it and all cost just under 500, runs like a champ.

If I'm at $600+, I'm in Walther PDP, M&P 2.0, HK VP9, CZ P10, etc territory. Why in the world would I spend it on a tarted-up $300 Gen 3 Glock clone? For $450 I can get a tarted-up Walther P99 clone from Canik that completely blows away not only every Glock clone on the market, but also actual Glocks. There's only so much you can do with the Glock trigger system, it will never stack up to rivals in the same $600ish ballpark.
