It's great when devs actually have a good relationship with players / streamers and can engage in some innocent banter and slate them for stuff... it's all done as a good jest and just shows the Devs do indeed pay attention to the player base and are in touch with what's going on. It's not always easy for them to respond or act on all feedback, but at least the acknowledgement makes them not feel locked away remotely in the studio.

Chat is unhinged lol - they want new maps in the mode that struggles to onboard players, and they want plain old TDM instead of this. New map will hopefully be a fun thing for non-PvPers to mess with, and for off seasons and such. I don't know that there's any fixing 12 year buildup of a skill gap and insulation in the GW2 PvP community, but a new mode is probably one of the better options at this point in the game's life. Especially a chill mode akin to WoW BGs.

I wouldn't have expected Stand By Me to go so well with the soundtrack.

Reminds me of a Splatoon gamemode and it is fun there and I hope they keep the SAB cloud Also I think they should show the current points (each advancement of the objective worth a certain number of points) each team have on top as they do in Splatoon so players can adapt their plans, this kind of game mode can often be quite close.

At 2:05:54 I could not agree more. The game in terms of how it feels is perfect for PVP. But it is marketed as a hyper casual game where you can just do whatever and it doesn't matter if you stop. And when you market yourself as a very casual product, it's hard to get die hard gamers into a competitive scene that is marked as "casual" I think it would be really interesting if they took sections of the WvW maps and turned them into like 20v20 or 30v30 instances que maps, I feel like that would give very much of a EA battlefield game experience in an MMO

3-5 min matches would be horrible bad, because gor a good matchmaking you need at least 2 min, so the you are 3 min no playing and 3-5 actually playing, 10 minutes is good as min
@ZyphentАй бұрын
Not sure what you mean by "for good matchmaking you need at least 2 min", its completely dependent on the pool of players available. The options are essentially longer mode with longer queues, or shorter mode with shorter queues. If the goal of the mode is to bring in newer players and be more laid back - I think leaning towards shorter is probably the right answer.

The way they do their streams is so unprofessional, whether it be the webcam setups or the jokes back and forth. If I wasn't in the community id be turned off.

I prefer it to in a studio reading from a script

It's much more personable than a pre-recorded stream full of corporate speak. FF14s streams are loved because they're unscripted, and done with just basic cameras
