Thank you for the SpeedyBee new product update review. I’ve never had any luck with draws, but here goes nothing. I do have the DJI Goggles 2, therefore the the SpeedyBee BEC would be a nice addition.

Just received my SpeedyBee F405 FC that is going to live inside my Talon GT Rebel soon. I must say I was impressed by the out of the box functionality. From this clip, it looks like SpeedyBee is developing rapidly into a favourite amongst us hobbyists :) A hight rate of new products to market, and the right ones too!. And at a low to reasonable price point. Keep it up, SpeedyBee. And keep it up, Lee ;)

I'm doing a build with SpeedyBee F7 V3. I'm impressed with the FC, but haven't made my mind up about the ESC. The ESC seems very strong, but it gets a bit hot. Kind of testing the durability some first. I have found it works best with Servos if you use the additional Motor ports for power, since those ports are also using a timer.

I got the Runcam branded version of that BEC (exact same as this one) and use it for my Thumb Pro and WalkSnail 1s on the sub 250 flying wing I’m using (not at the same time). Works great for both applications. Gets a little hot with the WalkSnail but that’s solved with keeping it on the outside of the battery bay. Glad to see those will be more readily available!

Thanks! A question about analog cameras: are all of them compatible with most of the transmitters? I'm planning to swap the camera on my baby ape drone. Should I just buy any I like or I need to check some connections and specs? Thanks!

Yes, the analogue cameras all output standard video so they will work with any modern VTX unit. Not all of them have exactly the same connector but most do too..

Having a hard time with my f495wing 😢 can’t bind crossfire nano for some reason tried reflashing board changing over the rx /tx getting telemetry in tx16s can see the pitch roll ,yaw in telemetry servos move but on receiver page in inav no stick movement I’ve bashed my Brain all weekend on it , motor spins up on the slider, board is good I just can’t think what I’m doing wrong and I’ve watched about every painless video on inav a hundred times this week 😞

Update!! Looks like I had either a bad nano or a poor solder job as I pulled out a new one soldered it up started from scratch and yay got it sorted !! Oh the joys of being a noob in the world of flight controllers …. On ti the next step it’s going to be a long day ….😂😂😂

Thank you for the product review. I like products by SpeedyBee for their quality and cost efficiency. I just ordered the new F405 wing flight controller and can't wait to try it out. The BEC for the goggles is a nice idea. The connection cable between my Goggles v2 and the battery is faulty. So this BEC would be a great alternative.

I purchased this but during first flight, DJI V2 just froze (probably the WTFOSD bug) then I thought, you are adding a point of failure to the system sooo it is your choice.
