they buff certain ops cause they don't get played enough but then nerf literally next patch cause their too strong/picked a lot. Makes no sense

Often the individual changes look reasonable but things look questionable when you zoom out and consider the overall approach.

If they want to fix anything the nerfs outside of the overwhelming competitively broken ops have to stop. Thunderbird, Mozzie and Thorne need slight weapon and gadget buffs. Solis’s gadget should be buffed to be between where she is now and where she was. Oryx’s hatch jumping ability should be sped up, quieted down and he should be given the ability to peak the hatch before jumping. Tachanka should be buffed into a more legitimate smoke alternative. Flores, Gridlock and Zero need gadget buffs, Zeros cams should get the Azami treatment where it takes multiple shots to destroy, gridlocks gadget needs something similar or should spot you if you shoot them; Nokk and Sens need large weapon and gadget overhalls; Kali should get the CAMRS; Ram, Sledge and Zof should all become 2 speeds. I pray to god the Blackbeard rework makes him a balanced yet meta operator.

There are a lot of operators it wouldn't hurt to buff. You'd think they would try some stuff to help make up for the lack of new content.

If they make more A and B tier operator choices out of the underpicked and underplayed operators these graphs start to balance out. People have more options to pick ops for the actual utility they bring instead of having to worry about having the firepower to not get mowed down by an ash or a lesion.

Oryx already has the ability to check before climbing up but being quicker would be good.

Sens best thing they could do is make he's ability like warden only he can see threw the sens but the actual sens it's self disappears more quickly and has less length or make it so he's ability will do damage to someone if they walk threw boom big upgrade

It feels like Sens should be a decent operator, but the unreliability of the gadget hurts.

Frost and goyo are both 2 speeds that have access to 2.5 scopes.

tachanka launcher needs a buff to area of effect/damage because ppl can just rum through. Also the launcher is clunky

I wonder if it would be better if they just normalized operator speed. And yeah I felt like Solis didn't need all the gadget nerfs as well as losing impacts.

I´m a Console player and honestly I think both Wamai and Melusi losing the ACOG is a good change... I feel like especially on Console, the amount of "crutch" players crutching on ACOGs is way too high.. In nearly every lobby theres one guy who exclusively can play Ash and Wamai/Melusi/Doc and its pretty annoying, cause I think good strategy should be rewarded more than just braindead gunplay (ofc not all fraggers are playing in a braindead manner, but a lot of them just rush in without thinking). And I guess because I´m more of a support player I like Melusi being more support and Util focused as well as Wamai being less of a gunman and more of a solid operator to hold a certain position. Apart from the Echo change I think most of these changes are alright, not necessairy but alright... I don´t get why Monty and Doka are remaining untouched. Monty is so annoyingly strong and Oryx being the only hard counter is kinda stupid.... For the Echo change I am slightly concerned as now Melusi and Wamai lost ACOGs, that people play Echo only for his gun because he has an ACOG on it.. I prefer Echo being more of a lurker, being able to use the cams to find attackers and take them out in surprising ways.

Some people have been crutching ACOGs since the dawn of time. They just can't live without it. And yeah I should have mentioned Montagne because even though he doesn't look like a standout in the data, I think he's the biggest balancing issue rn.
