NEW rare beauty powder blush review ✨ comparing all 6 shades

Update: I wore Happy again for 8-9 hours the next day and it held up beautifully, even with light sweating and running around the city. The colour stays put while the shimmer fades a bit throughout the day, leaving behind a a fresh sheen. I think the best way to apply is to buff it into the brush more than I did (on back of hand, for example), and applying in light layers. After this wear, I can see the blush is not as metallic/glittery as the powder highlight - it has maybe like 75% of the shimmer power!

Amazing review!! Great lighting as well. I swatched them in store and happy, joy and hope all started to look the same on my hand but as much as I liked Hope the best on my hand, all the reviews I’ve seen where it’s applied on the cheeks, made it look like it had an odd undertone. Your review did solidify that I too like Happy and Cheer the best! ❤❤❤

You definitely have cool undertone that armani foundation shade is too warm for you. As for the blush i agree with you happy look so pretty on you💕

Happy is a cooler-toned pink! I think it’s the closest to the pink Dior blush ☺️

I just ordered Happy b/c Selena is giving away profits to some cause. I was looking for an excuse. I've wanted to try Rare Beauty but so far I've only liked the Hand Cream (which is amazing BTW). I'm glad Happy ended up being your favourite. I like Milani, too, but for some reason they don't include a brush anymore which made me sad b/c I gave my old one to a friend. :-(

That pointy dense brush for blush probably isn’t the best. It’s way too dense. I don’t think some of the shades wouldn’t have been that heavy if you would have use a fluffier/lighter brush 🤷🏻‍♀️

You're totally right! Using a fluffier brush and working the powder into the bristles on my back of my hand first, then sweeping over the cheeks works beautifully :)

joy and hope are too warm and may not be harmonious for your fair (and not that yellow/ warm) skin tone. happy is the best color on your face.
