I have a viper mini and a DA Elite and I used the DA for about 4 years now and it didn't broke or anything. The only thing rn is the plastic squeaking which happens to most of the mice too after 4 years.

@@kaasaturaa I have not used DA in years so the quality must have improved. Back in the day they were notorious for breaking. I went through coupe of DA unit I got frustrated with them breaking. Other then that I loved the mouse shape…probably my favorite at the time. Glad their QA has stepped up …checking out reviews most say that mouse quality feels good. That is good to see.

Razer is king, no debate now. They've just topped the market with literally every spec, ergo and symmetrical, tech, and trends. There is no better mouse to get than a Razer mouse. They are here to take over. Logitech is failing but this is common sense now.

Maybe also dig a bit deeper if the typical shitty quality is still present in this Razer product in the form of a teardown? This is twice as much as the WMO was in 2001. You got dragged in the comments for telling people to unsub other reviewers. Look, if they lower the price to match brands like Pulsar, then 💥 there goes the whole market. Everyone will just buy Razer and kill all of the competition. That's something you have to understand about pricing within the free market. It's highly unethical for larger brands to undercut the competition. Also, if this was designed to last an entire tech cycle, this is a one-time purchase. Use this everyday for 2-3 years vs a Pulsar or Pwnage mouse I'd say it's no contest. Not everyone is buying a new mouse everytime one comes out. $150 in 2022 for an "industry leading" mouse is entirely reasonable given the market. This is not a casual gamer's mouse.

It’s weird to me that people are concerned about the DPI buttons. If you remap them then sure I guess but I have literally never adjusted my dpi and can’t understand why anyone would feel the need to. You set to what is comfortable for all use and adjust specifics in games. I can’t see why you’d ever change that.

You answered your own question. Having two more customizable mouse buttons is very nice, and their location is convenient. I hate those MMO oriented mice with like 29302390 side buttons. The DAv2 pro is a great mouse, other than the buttons being apart from the shell, nothing about the DAv3 is objectively better than the v2.

I have tendonitis and as a gamer and programmer, it sucks lol. I had a Deathadder v1 long ago as a wee teenager lol. It was the best mouse I had felt at the time. I've been trying other mice for over 13 years now and I recently have decided to give the v3 a shot. That familiar feeling was immediate. I have not had anymore pain. It is still the best mouse I've ever felt in my hands. It hurts for me to try to keep my wrist straight so that angle is perfect for me to just lift my finger up and touch the scroll wheel without strain. It puts the pressure it just the right spots on your knuckles and curves perfectly with your fingers. I can grip it and slightly lift it and use my thumb and fingers on the mat for super precise flicks that don't keep sliding. No issue. The rubber grips it comes with are suuuper nice too. Perfect bumpy texture and keeps the sweat at bay. You can wash them with a bit of water and a rag. Talk about grip on a mouse, it's there. My hand can now actually connect to my brain on the screen. Accuracy is easy. An edit to that is I've even tried sideway mice and shit. Nothing has ever just been "my hand" like this mouse.

I find the dramatic changes to such a classic design dissapointing. I have both a deathadder V2 and a glorius model D. I have both because I love the uniqeness of the Deathadder V2, now it's basically just a slightly different version of the model D losing it's uniqeness and specialness. If I wanted to buy a model D I'd buy a model D, I like the Deathadder for what it is and now witht the v3 thats gone. I think Im going to buy a few Deathadder V2s because unfortunately, it looks like you wont be able to get anything like that again which is really sad.

We, the consumers have certain control whether or not companies can get too greedy by simply not buying the product. There have to be some boundaries, a certain line of acceptable and unacceptable. Else, in 1-2 years we'd have to pay 200-300$ for a computer mouse and let's be honest - that's dumb and unreasonable. Sure, "lighter weight" is nice and all but paying more for less and being fine with it makes literally no sense and tests the limits of stupidity. I see everyone keep mentioning the Superlight left and right as some weird kind of defense mechanism and justify Razers approach yet GPX was AHEAD of literally everyone and the first to do it while the market was relatively dry and clone after clone. Even then, GPX got a lot of flak and so will the next "150$ Logitech release". Even back then, the price was silly and unjustified. Also, why don't you we compare it to recent releases? Fantech coming with fantastic build quality, 59g, 3395 sensor, Kailh 8.0 + bluetooth mode for just 68$. Pulsar is getting a bit far, yet 100€ is still more acceptable. Everything the Viper V2 offers at fraction of the price with the Fantech Aria. With the exception of mediocre optical switches, which in my eyes is not a deal-breaker. As long as we, the customers let it slip, it won't stop and before we know they'd say the same bs to justify 200$ then 250$ for minor "upgrades" For.A.Computer.Mouse. Not far off considering the mouse costs 160€ in EU + 34.99€ if you want to try the 4KHz polling rate. They don't depends on the "Pros", but on the consumers for sales and profits. Pros are just promoters, so are the reviewers. At least we have scrupulous reviewers like Frank and BadSeed that point out such *major issues* rather than shilling a product blindly.

About 5 years ago when looking for my first mouse I hated the DA and instead went with the Mamba Elite. I've loved it but it's time for something new, I went in to a store to test out mice in my hand and picked this one up because why not? I was shocked at how natural it felt. I've noticed that the shape change almost perfectly matches the mamba, so for those of you who like that this is a magnificent replacement. Gonna pick one up this week.

It’s a great mouse but it’s going to be uncomfortable to use if you have small hands (as was the case for me). My hands are 18 cm by 8.5 cm and I am forced to use palm grip so the Viper V2 Pro is better for me. If you use palm grip or have hands that are 19+ cm by 9+ cm then it’s the perfect mouse but if you use a different grip or have smaller hands then go for the Viper V2 Pro

As someone who isn't a fan of the former Deathadder all these shape changes just sound like positives to me. The change to separated buttons to avoid shell-clicks alone is a fantastic upgrade. I notice you said you naturally hold the mouse sideways, but later on you had an entirely different grip that must no longer have required the adjusted rotation so it just seem more like initial new mouse holding things before you figure out the right grip for it.

This DAv3 seems better than DA for fps games, DA was very ergonomic for me on every genre of games but a bit uncomfortable for FPS games when doing fast movements, and it seems they fixed this problem with the shape.

Love the new DeathAdder V3 Pro, but for me best lightweight ergo mouse is still Steelseries Prime Mini WL. DA's high spec on paper is hardly noticeable. But yeah it feel much lighter. I'm keeping Prime Mini WL for gaming and Orochi V2 as a working mouse.

tbh Razer after 2019 is all about cutting costs, if you compared the Deathadder Elite to Deathadder v2, the difference in materials and build quality is very noticeable I've used both of them for couple of years now and the DA v2 rubbers and skates weared way too quickly the body kept sqweeking 1 week after purchase...also comparing the kraken v2 7.1 to the kraken v3 specs wise the difference is night and day specially when i had to test both of them, in overall the products quality is declining way too much with nearly no changes in prices, probably it's finally the time to leave :/

Had the Death adder V3 Pro for just under a month, Felt my older Viper Ultimate was a bit too heavy and a little too flat., wished it was a little higher and lighter..........:( So, I'm honestly just not getting along with it. It's too "weird" Palm grip it is comfy at first but after 10 mins of use it's irritating the aggressive hump on one side along with the rough texture, I generally switch from palm grip to claw grip in game and whatever i'm doing, Claw gripping this feels extra weird! it's too off balanced and the mouse wants to rotate anti clockwise as i'm using it, 2 days after I bought it they released the Viper v3 Pro out of nowhere, i'm like man stop it! Amazon returns window is tomorrow for it so I'm sending it back and have a Viper v3 pro coming tomorrow too with a fresh Shpex V3 mat. for tonight i'm back using my old viper ultimate , whilst it's not perfect, it feels like a relief after using the deathadder.

I really didn’t like the old shape. I have really long fingers and the way the old deathadder was shaped would cramp my finger cause of the way it would flare out on the sides. This one is smaller but it’s wayyy more ergo friendly. I might consider picking it up

the scrollwheel suck. I had this mouse for less than a year and the scrollwheel is already jumping around now. Blow air into it can only sometimes temporary fixes it

The battery life for mine is absolutely insane. About 90~ hours between charges on wireless, I'll vouch for it I love this mouse
