You're still quite the salesman Ali! LOL! You're also looking well. I would like to have seen you fly this inverted... Yeah, i know... but a model like this might be a great learning tool for beginning 3D. At any rate, I'm sold. The price is reasonable... currently $157 USD with three batteries on Banggood, and the flight characteristics from what I am seeing are wonderful. R/C helis are really coming into a golden age I feel... these 100 size helis have always been a handful, very flitty, indoor only and draft sensitive. This one looks like a game changer. Thanks for the review!

Agreed. Smooth Flyer. Indoors/Outdoors. Had mine in 3-7 mph winds outdoors. Did really well holding if I pointed into wind. My front canopy light fell out of hole like others. Tacky Glued it in. Port side Stabilator was falling off like others out of box. Tried tacky now going to tack CA glue it before it pulls Led wires out. Just got the Bel 206 to fly Indoors/Outdoors. Both are good looking Helis! Price was good too. 😊

The rear "ducted fan" is called a Fenestron, this is a registered design from the mid 70s by the French manufacturer Aérospatiale (then Eurocopter now Airbus Helicopter).

I've been shopping and digging for deals for weeks for this helicopter under $225- $189. I finally found it with two batteries for $143 and a two pack of extra batteries for it for $36, so I'll luckily get everything for $179. Much better price and 4 batteries total for lots of flying. Can't wait until it gets here!

Both are same. eachine doesn't not make helis. They are just Banggood slapping their name on yuxiang and rc era helis

I just got mine this past tuesday, flying and looking great. Then last couple days the tail has been giving headaches. Just doesn't want to start up with the main rotor very much, which it would after a few startup tries, and I could fly fine. Then last flight it was getting worse where it took longer to get going and then it quit midair so it hit the pavement and smashed the tail body off the boom and broke a few other body peices. Now the tail just spins a couple times and stops, no taking off at all now. Seems the speed control board is bad and everything else is fine. Had no wrecks before the one caused by this problem.

tail ESC issue possibly. you will need a new one.

Ali I want to get one but there’s so many choices. My friend got one with the 5 blades, he said it’s more stable. I saw one with 2 blades and it looks more scale I don’t know which one to get since I’m a beginner.

so question, the older models have a v2 with the software update? can the older models still have the optical turned off by holding trim for 3 seconds? i really want the black md500 but i guess i have to turn off optical through trim unless it got an update on firmware

Love the way it flies! For my ship model project (1,76m long, 30cm wide) I am looking for helicopter with a main rotor of about 20-25cm diameter in order to land it on the helicopter deck which is 30cm in diameter and a little over 30cm above the water, with only minor wash obstruction in the shape of the bow 20cm below the helideck, non from any other useable direction (there is a mast straight aft of the helideck and there is also the rest of the ship so I won't be coming in from there). Do you think it would be possible to land this model helicopter on the helideck? I will glue a net in place to make it as easy as possible for the optical flow sensor to recognise it's position relative to the deck and off course I won't try it when there is more then a slight bit of wind, though it would be on a large pond or small lake so the wind should be steady. The model itself is very stable though I would imagine that the helideck can move a little being as far above the water as it is. The ship will at some point get it's own position hold function controlled by 9-DOF gyroscope so movement of the ship will be quite limited.

PLEASE PLEASE help me. You stated that the Heli had a bad issue with the rotor and I am having an issue with my main rotor. Sometimes when I fly, the rotor folds up onto itself. Very random. Never the same place, time. But it will do it and it falls out of the sky. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH LANDINGS SKIDS AND I have rebuilt this thing from several high bad falls onto the ground and most of the time it lands on the grass. LUCKY ME! Can you help me with this issue? The grips have been replaced. The rotor head is straight and the blades are tracking as best as I can with such little adjustability.

i can't understand the issue. if rotor folds please tighten them. see my video tutorials on how tight the rotors should be.
