Thanks for taking the time to fully document the install. I really appreciate you also mentioning all of the torque specs. This will make it a lot easier for when I go to do my install next week.

I checked the rotational torque on my rear flange before removal. It was only at 20ft lbs, so on install I measured it at 55 ft lbs and had about 1/8" of threads showing after tightening down the flange nut. It drove with no issues whatsoever. Hope I didn't screw anything up.

Yeah, hopefully you didn’t over torque it, if it’s an Adam’s flange they are a tolerance fit and take a bit to get them seated. I actually had to call the owner and talk to him about it. Mine ended up popping all the way on after the first drive and needed to be retorqued. Hope this helps, thanks for watching the video!

@@FROSTBITEOFFROAD I watched multiple videos, and found yours to be by far the best. Thanks again!

Have you tried to grease the CV? I can't get to the flat grease point with it installed and Adam's video on greasing the CV is done on a bench. Looks like I will have to unbolt the driveshafts (1310 front and 1350 rear) to get to the grease fitting in the CV.

did you retorque on the ground the axle pinion flange?
@FROSTBITEOFFROAD Жыл бұрын
I did run it back in on the ground and using the flange tool to avoid gear slap. Be careful not to over tighten that pinion nut or you’ll fry your bearings. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
