@@PatOutdoors wow I didn’t think of that good idea saves on the space from dealing with the motor since it’s hard to mount when you go up in watts. Im usually just against hubs on bikes but I guess it suits scooters

Hey pat just wondering how much range you think I will get running a 72 volt 20 ah battery and a ku ray kr5v and a far driver nd72450 thanks
@PatOutdoors7 күн бұрын
That’s all depending on how much power you set it to, what kind of speed you’ll be cruising at, rider weight, what kind of terrain, etc.. I’m this video, I was only pulling 50-60 amps (4000ish watts) at the time so I was able to get a lot of range. Assuming you turn your razor up to 10kw, but only cruising half throttle at 25ish MPh, maybe about 15-18 miles

@Armor220 Жыл бұрын
Hey Pat, do you know which of the 3 wires coming from the 3-speed throttle connector is for the LOW speed? Building this for my teenage son and only want him on the low speed for a while….
@PatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
So for some reason I have not been able to get it to work correctly. But I connected to the Kelly with the Bluetooth dongle to go over the electro & co settings. I noticed all (3) speeds were set to 100%. So you can just connect to the Kelly and change the speed limit to 50% for your son.

Hey! I know you currently (from my knowledge) have a fully built 48v overvolted bike, with a 72v controller and battery but what’s stopping you from getting a 72v motor if they only go for about 200$? Is it too big for the frame? Asking for my personal build thank you
@PatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Nothing! Just waiting for the original motor to fail before I justify the purchase of an EC4P motor as an upgrade once it does.

What size brake rotor do you need for the same brakes you're using with stock forks?
@PatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
It would take a lot of modification to use a pit-bike caliper on a regular fork.. I would not suggest it unless you have a pit-bike fork. 195mm. Most bolt on solution is to use the Zoom MTB hydraulic front brake with a 160mm brake rotor that has a 48mm bolt hole pattern.

How do you run a 48v motor and a 72v battery and controller¿?
@PatOutdoors Жыл бұрын
The Kelly controller is programmed to run a 72v battery. People seem to often misunderstand the voltage on the my1020 motor is irrelevant. It’s a 2000w motor that happened to just come with my original 48v kit. When it eventually fails, it will be upgraded to a higher wattage motor

@PatOutdoors I'll probably get a vid going here shortly on a a pocket mod I helped build. Stripped the frame, kelly kls (300amp version) surron 60v battery and enc 1020+. At 200 amp it wants to backflip. I turned it down to 60 amps and it'll still power wheelie with me being 220lbs lol. But if this small thing can hold that massive size of a battery I'm sure the ecosmart can fit something even bigger from amorge 😉
