I went red again! I know this is going to fade out a lot, but I've always wanted to try this color. Here is a review of the Feria Power Red Cherry Crush Color (R57)

This probably showed up in my recommended because I've been looking into different "red" hair colors because I'm trying to switch mine up! I'd love to try this one! You ROCK this color! It looks so natural on you and beautiful against your skin tone!

This was helpful. I have darker hair than you and am looking for a subtle red tint. How long did it take to wash out?

I’m obsessed with this. I have dark brown hair like my photo here and not sure how it would turn out.

Did you use the shampoo and conditioner that it came with? Did you washed it twice like it said to do.

Used it. And the third day my hair went back to brown. I wasn't expecting much tho. My hair was naturally light brown.

I’ve had auburn and mahogany box dyes (L’Oreal, but the Preference line). I got copper done at the salon plus Olaplex which made my ginger shade only fade out to where excess colour washed out and then looked super natural. People thought it was my real colour. Do this if you want your colour to be more vibrant: sadly you have to actually bleach your hair to get the desired vibrancy like on the box. If you want reds or auburns to last longer, you have to: -Don’t wash hair everyday or too frequently. May need to use dry shampoo. -Don’t wash it with hot water. Warm is fine when wetting hair. Rinse any shampoo and conditioner only with lukewarm or preferably cold. - Do NOT use shampoos with sulfates and parabens!! Sulfates literally STRIP the hair cuticle, so your dye will bleed out! Use only colour-safe products or shampoos that are for colour-treated hair. -Use only sulfate-free products including hair sprays, detanglers, masks and conditioners! -Use Olaplex. Your hair’s disulphides bonds will literally love you. Hair colouring damages hair bonds. Olaplex treatment (No. 1-3) is so nourishing and will act like a protectant for your hair dye too. Fixes damage enough so your hair doesn’t look dead. Also it helped my ginger stop bleeding out after the first two washes and it only faded slightly. I use No.7 now (bond oil) to add shine, protect against UV rays and helps soften ends. -Use red colour depositing shampoo and conditioner. Budget I use is John Frieda. Even better are salon/professional brands like Wella, but they’re way more expensive. Overtone (online brand) is a nourishing product that can deposit reds too, but it’s so expensive ($30 for a small tub) and in USD. -May need to invest in UV ray protection. Look at sprays or the Olaplex No.7 for sun protection. -Nourish the hair with oils or masks! The reason why reds fade so easily is also because when the bonds are broken from damage, reds tend to not stick even more than other colours. This ties in with the Olaplex point. This will save your red! And yes, you cannot even prevent the red from being less vibrant than the first colouring. When you first get hair coloured, the vibrancy is also excess dye! The real colour won’t come out until the first 1-2 washes. True vibrancy imho is if you got your hair bleached at first then dyed. Bleaching hair is for dark hair to show any colour and for lighter hair colours it’s to get even more vibrancy of colour. My hair is not that dark and I still wouldn’t get a fire truck red unless I bleached. Bleaching is like using a brightening colour correcting primer on eyelids so that eyeshadow is more vibrant.

If I have already blonde hair will it still be a darker color?
@VincentBalducci
@VincentBalducci 7 жыл бұрын
good question. It depends on how blond you are. The more blonde the more intense the color will be. It could end up being super bright like lipstick red.

reyna c there isn't any bleach in it, it's not a neon color, and it says it's permanent. if you're very worried about an orange color later on, dye your hair back to brown

Feria power reds are drippy liquid messes. It gets on everything whether you want it to or not. Better to use a non power red shade.
