thanks for the video! I missed my chance for a jumbo before the prices got crazy! I redeemed my topps chrome buyback cards at my local LCS and did a straight trade for the same hobby box you got. After watching yours I feel I got lucky with one #d gold card and it was a Adley! I see you like Nolan Ryan. He is probably my favorite player of all time. When I was younger I was a server in a nice restaurant in Newport Beach, Ca and I served Nolan Ryan and his wife dinner and he was one the nicest gentlemen and just class act, I have ever met! I wish I would have asked him for his autograph but it didn't seem appropriate at the moment..

Jumbos are nice. I got one before the price jumped. Got a Grissom auto and rainbow Foil. Plus a Gold foil Baty. And a few other smaller hits. Not bad at all. Can't wait for my regular hobby box too. I've historically had good luck with regular hobby boxes but I wish every pack had an insert or hit at least. Boring to get a pack with just base.

@@daveg5173 diluted hit/parallel odds in retail significantly, skewed towards hobby. Good for hunting base rookies (which I do enjoy) but seems better value overall is in hobby and especially jumbo.

It's crazy Michael Harris II's rookie card is coming out the season AFTER he won the N.L. rookie of the year. That Max Fried card is cool. I think he's about to pick someone off at first base.

I pre ordered hobby too but I got lucky and grabbed jumbo off Topps website for $150. I got my hobby box in few days ago and pulled a Riley Greene mojo auto /199 from the silver pack. I’m bummed they took away base SPs and they trashed retail. I do love the design and checklist

Jumbo definitely the way to go. I think I’d go retail over hobby, at least you get the stars of mlb in retail. Very few inserts and rainbow foils in hobby this year.

Tough box, man. But sadly better than my first S1 hobby last year. That also had only one numbered, to 299. It's really unfortunate that this is a normal hobby experience. Not sure why Topps biased it so much towards jumbos this year. But it did make me buy 2 jumbos, one of which I ripped and it was fine. But I did buy a hobby taking a gamble I'd get a clear. We'll see. Haha

Golds in blasters are 1/99 I think in jumbo it’s like 1/4 packs ..I’m sure you already know but yeah I won’t be opening much detail of this bc of no Sps and it’s damn near impossible to even pull a numbered card..alright bro I been waiting for a Lsu video

That max Meyer mojo isn’t terrible he don’t have a base card …I watched 4 cases of hobby opened on Whatnot last Saturday bc the guy was opening early and he didn’t pull one Ssp in his entire 4 cases every hobby box had 1 gold 1 other number card and 2 silver foils …we are just coming off update where they just printed so much less and hits were a plenty …I do love the design too!!
