As a trucker who drives a t680 with the mx13 I have to say they did a good job on the sound mixing for the mx13. Its pretty much spot on. Hopefully they can go back through and revise the sound on the rest of the engines.

It's a work in progress. More chassis and accessories to come in the future according to SCS. They just wanted to get this out there before the end of the year.

Absolutely. I drive an older t680 with the same engine and it sounds pretty accurate honestly. They did well on the sound mixing. Hope they go back and revise all of the engine sounds

2 things amazing with those cameras. 1. At night they are able to get a brighter view and mirrors. 2. When it rains since the cameras are protected from the raindrops and the screens are inside you get a perfectly clear view of what is behind. I drove it at night in the rain, it's magic.

I’m an OTR driver as well and I actually have a 2023 T680 next gen. Tbh I don’t know how y’all deal with all that electronic chirping and dinging. I ordered my truck with a full collision mitigation system delete, no radar dish, No adaptive cruise, no blind spot just silence. Lol admittedly my biggest mistake was getting the Mx-13 instead of the Cummins. Can’t wait for the rest of the accessories to drop, this will be the first time I could actually build my own IRL Truck

IRL the camera mirrors are cool just creat more of a blind spot in my opinion once you trust them and get used to it being on the truck you use the camera more than the actually mirrors outside the truck

Been driving it all day long. Was disappointed at the lack of upgrades. But this is a great truck to drive. Even with the 12 speed which is geared well enough for some moderately heavy loads. I also noticed that they moved most of the older truck models out of the dealerships into the used truck market. There’s only 3 trucks in the Volvo dealership now 🤯

I'd say IRL keeping the mirrors outside wouldn't change for not only legal reasons (we all know how long things take to change on the judicial side) but for backups in case the monitors go out/fail.

I know that irl truckers in EU / Uk do not like the tv cam mirrors because of fov and real distances are a little uncertain.. but that is all I've heard from some.. nice vid as always

Having driven Mercedes actros with the mirror cams in the uk I don’t mind them. Handy for blindsides as you can track the back of trailer. But at night in heavy rain you do get some weird goings on. Overall they aren’t awful but I like the idea kenworth had there giving you both as it does help. But mirror or cam doesn’t matter I’m still fat old head out the window backing on a bay 😂😂😂

We have exactly the same mirror cameras in our DAF trucks in the UK, but you dont get the external mirror as well like you have.

in europa it´s already pretty common for trucks to only have cameras and no mirrors, some of them even let you see much better at night afaik

Tesla wanted to delete the mirrors from the Cyber truck and replace them with cameras but federal regulations meant had to have physical mirrors but can be replaced.

I'm hearing that people download the truck from Steam but not showing up in game...bug. The way my friend and I fixed it was I sent him my truck using Trucky import, and it woke up his in game.

Those inside mirrors don't actually exist. Saw a vid that showed the inside and that mirror in the inside wasn't there and I think it was the most expensive package you can get
