New RGT EX86190 Rescuer unboxing and first look (FTX Outback Tracker)

The new trail crawler from RGT.
It arrived today and I'm pretty excited. It's just a shame that I didn't have time to give it a run. That will be coming soon, so watch this space.
This car could be a game-changer with lockable diffs, two-speed gearbox and an awesome scale body at such a good price. I can't wait to drive it.
This should be coming out in Europe in the coming months from FTX but as of yet, I'm not sure what it's going to be called. (It's the FTX Outback Tracker!)

How did you put on outter brass portals ? It was easy for my trx4 but not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if they sent me the wrong RGT item

Not at the moment. A bit pricey. It makes more sense for me to get more other things, so I can test and compare them. Hopefully get one some day in the not too distant future, so I can compare everything else to what's probably the benchmark.

Yes, that should be fine, assuming you're talking 2S. 3S should be ok too but I prefer to stick to 2S. I've got links in most of my video descriptions for the batteries I use.

Does your pan hard link come off. My one keeps disconnecting from the lower point. I do drive it pretty rough but still. The metal bar keeps slipping out I added some locktigght and rubber band to fix it in the hole but it doesn't last long

Not an issue that I've ever had. Is it the rod end coming off the rod and if it did that from new, I'd say that the rod end was probably mis-threaded in the factory. Rod ends are very cheap. I'd just replace it and you'll be good.

I always hate to receive a box and see damage on it like that but luckily it turned out okay. There really didn't seem like much protective packaging inside the box to hold the car in position. This truck has a nice spec and seems well made as well. My only reservations are that this body has quite a lot of windows and this means you can see straight into the interior. I recently bought a new pick-up style crawler from Cross-RC and I'm just deciding how best to fit an interior. There is a bit of trial and error involved usually. My truck has a similar spec to yours (2-speed gearbox, lockable front/rear diffs) and it also has portal axles which is nice for greater ground clearance. I know what you mean about the windows but you could always put some silver/grey stickers or paint on them. I'd quite like to make an interior but it's a fairly big job and I'm far too busy at the moment. I'll have a look at your channel.

It was a surprise to me that I did. Nice to hear of someone in the US with a Rescuer/Tracker. Such a great rig. You'll love it!
