He's going to sell a surprisingly large number of these €2 million cars. Jonny nailed it when he said that this is something that affects an entire country. In fact, I think this is one of, perhaps the most significant thing happening in the European economy at present. The Ioniq 5 that everyone is, rightly, raving about, is based on Rimac technology. A mass market car, that will sell millions, gets its most significant bits from a 10 year old, Croatian, start up. The man is a genius, and he will more or less single-handedly save the European car industry from being eaten alive by Tesla.

Infact, he is announcing his new company dedicated to autonomous driving in early 2022. Mate himself said it will be bigger then Rimac. He truly just might be one of the most interesting individuals in European economic scene.

The first thing in the design and characteristic of this thing from my point of view is how new it is to my eyes, i mean the masculinity of the total presence of it. it’s not German or Scandinavian or American! it’s completely a new breed of it’s king! congratulations to Rimac’s team.

I’ve said it before and i am sure I will again, but this is by far one of the best all round, car based KZbin channels. Great reviews, awesome back stories always honest and informative. Never had any real interest in EV before watching the Late break show, but the mix of old tech (& Barn finds, car stories etc) and new EV means that I’m genuinely looking at modern EV in totally new light. Going to have to save forever or win the lottery to own this particular car though 😂

@magpieblue3 жыл бұрын
I also can't read them quick enough and find the styling / timinng a bit un-friendly for reading in those moments. While there's something to be said for the pause button, great design would allow for reading in a reasonable time without losing focus on the rest of the show. Still want to say they're pretty, and unintrusive :) Problem with them in this video though, is that the figures for this car have so many extra digits! 20 times more torque than anything I'm used to.
