I really like this scape mate, simple and beautiful !

Thank you so much. Inspired by ADA scape I saw on youtube but much smaller scale and much cheaper. I think you can have a great scape without having to spend a small fortune. Also really easy to maintain. I've added the fish and will do an update/cinematic soon (I will have to learn how to do a cinematic 🤔).

Cheers Jan! Hopefully the back grown in a bit more and I can add some fish once fully cycled in. Thought I would do something a bit different and relatively simple.

Ah I'm glad this inspired you! I love this scape because it was relatively easy to scape compared to the other scapes I have done on the channel. Check them out. Really appreciate the subscription. I hope you find it useful Norman. Very best wishes, Natquascape

Merry Christmas! love the new scape, I'm in the process of working out hardscape for my first high-tech setup (looks so much easier in videos haha). Your videos provide good inspiration :)
@Natquascape4 жыл бұрын
Merry Christmas to you too! Hope your having a good one. Working out hardscape can be tricky, I've watched lots of videos and tried different things in a plastic tub or even just on the floor in my garage or living room before adding to a tank. Sometimes I have just done the hardscape in the tank without soil and it's been a work in progress for about a week. I feel that the more you do play around with hardscape, the easier it becomes. Thanks so much for your comment. More scapes and reviews to come inntbe new year! I have a new aquascaping tank product to show next year so stay tuned!

Which filter should I use for 4 feet tank with this plant? Is top filter fine? Would the plant get affected with the flow of the water?

Lovely aquascape. I know you said in the video that the stones were locally sourced but you did not say from where. I understand you might not want to tell everybody for fear of people not seeking permission for taking rocks but I would be grateful if you could tell me what your process was for seeking permission from the local authority.

What is anaerobic activity in substrate? Is condition where the substate not having oxigent or something?
@Natquascape3 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Waste can collect and be broken down by bacteria in the substrate. This is good as the bacterial can release beneficial substances to the roots of your plants. However, we want out substrate system to receive some oxygen in order to allow beneficial bacteria to flourish and breakdown waste. With a lack of oxygen, anaerobic bacteria will start to release toxins into the water such as hydrogen sulphide. An accumulation of hydrogen sulphide will cause toxicity to both plants and fish. So....if you use a thick layer of sand, the sand will compact very easily and thus, oxygen will not be able to flow within the substrate (thick layer of sand). Hope this helps

Pretty ballsy to lift and carry a rimless tank with its substrate and water still in it. So lucky the bottom didnt fall out. That is some thin material.

No, we did this in the late 70s early 80s.
