One of my favorite bronzers of ALL time is the RMS Buriti Bronzer. It is a "cream" in a pot, HOWEVER, it is one of the THINNEST textures I've felt, can be hella pigmented or sheered out, and has a reddish brown undertone. I absolutely love it as it gives a natural sunburnt look which is one of the few bronzers/contours that isn't gray or orange (for me is a must) BUT it does go bad quickly, likr within 6 mths so I don't buy backups anymore lol. I wanna try their uncover line one day too. Heard great things too

Danielle, that is one of the things to love or hate about clean beauty. It’s clean. There are no preservatives or chemicals. But… The reverse of that is it goes off really fast. And that is very difficult. I am not sure the general public wants that situation. Clean beauty goes fast. And it is what we are facing as we abandon non-clean ingredients, some of which are not as villainess as they really are seem to be. You know what I mean?

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yep. I might cause a stir on this one... I actually don't mind, in fact, I PREFER preservatives. I don't see a lot of these ingredients as "not clean" if that makes sense? Sure the less we need the better, but I also don't like marketing turning into fear mongering either which a lot of brands pray on imo. Dermatologists have stated that many of these ingredients that are "chemicals" are actually safer/better overall than clean/natural in some cases. So do I prefer clean beauty personally? Meh. I think it's more a marketing ploy but I completely understand and respect those that love it. I just love this bronzer besides. Hope my opinion doesn't offend anyone. To each their own right. We have so many options nowadays which is wonderful

@@DanielleNicoleMakeup your opinion is not offensive. Your opinion is on point. Clean is important but what we are calling clean and what we are calling dangerous is silly lately. Marketing ploys. And, yep, hello, things will go off quickly if they’re not stabilized. This is a major issue. Clean needs to be explained. RMS does a good job explaining their ingredients and their motives, as does MOB and VBB. But others are often bandwagon jumpers and it’s a shame.

Don't forget Rebecca ...Camera Ready Cosmetics also carries RMS. I don't know if they'll sell this foundation but they do have the blushes, refills & the new primer that goes with this. It’s a cream bronzer in a little jar. It goes on with a reddish undertone and is gorgeous. Thanks for this great review, I brought a sample off eBay in shade 00, I’m surprised at how mattifying it is on my oily skin despite the initial thick texture, doesn’t need any powder & manages to provide medium coverage whilst looking natural & feeling lightweight. Also thanks for the recommendation of the Pat McGrath liner, this was really tricky to get hold of in the UK but I managed to get that last one in Blitz Blue, it’s amazing, doesn’t budge all day!

I was SO happy to see this review. I love skincare infused products and this one intrigued me. I am hooked on mixing the Nars light reflecting with the Ilia together. This might be a good next purchase. How does this one compare to lancome and hourglass?

Hello Krista! This is better than the hourglass because the hourglass is very problematic so let’s take that one out of the equation for now. I cannot say if it is better than Lancome. It is entirely different. The Lancome is viscous and spreadable and like a dewy, slightly more coverage tinted moisturizer. Think of it that way. This is a sticky or heavier serum foundation that has much more coverage and a lot less glow but feels lightweight and comfortable on the skin. Totally and completely different luxe. Since I come from the fashion world I will tell you it is like comparing a pencil skirt with opaque tights to a flowy, gauzy skirt with sandals.

I am interested in trying foundation through rms. But it does make me nervous they matched me to 22.5 and I feel I am more of a 33. I have yellow and olive undertones. So if the color isn’t just right it makes me either super orange or yellow. But I feel my skin is so different then yours but they recommend me to 22.5.

Hello Layla. Definitely for sure absolutely take a natural lighting photo with no makeup and ask someone in rms customer service. See if they still think 22.5. I’m thinking that will give you a better assurance. Can be done so quickly snd they get back to you quickly too.

Hello Donna! Yes. And I reviewed the reformulation of their concealer. I think it is a very good concealer but it’s basic and mid weight. It is better than nothing but not as good as some. Thank you so very much for the lovely compliments. I do like this foundation very much especially with the Hollywood flawless filter underneath it as a primer. But I think there are now others I like more. The Givenchy and the Burberry for instance I think they’re a little bit better.

Oh dear Rebecca! I can see the redness around your eyes….so sorry it’s uncomfortable!! I’ve found the CeraVe Healing Ointment does wonders for any irritation on the face! Has helped in many a time. Those rms blushes were a huge surprise. I was very wary of trying it as I can’t use any glowy blushes but I got French Rose and fell in love!!! This foundation looks nice!! Just visited the site and after putting in 3 foundations it couldn’t give me a match. You and I usually are shade matches…maybe a shade lighter than me….not sure if to try 22…..

Glad you did this. I thought from the promo pics this doesn’t look medium coverage at all! It looks like light coverage. But I see it can be. I guess they used less on the models not sure. Yea I was looking at shade 33 (which would make sense if you’re 22). Let me know how u think I would like it or if u think not.

I think you would like this for a long day at work, Veronica. It really stays put and is such medium to full coverage but feels super lightweight and comfortable. I realize, of course, that I’m putting this on my normal skin type. So I don’t know if, after a long day you would experience issues as any natural oils mixed but I really feel it could be a very interesting, different, worthwhile product for you. Think about your favorite medium coverage concealer but made for the whole face. It’s really quite an interesting texture.

Hey Jodi! From your description, both would be lovely on you, however, there is one factor that makes me choose the Haus for you more than the RMS. Coverage. RMS Is most definitely a thicker fuller coverage than the Haus. Both are lovely but I firmly feel that you will enjoy Lady Gaga’s more!

Yesterday I was dying to ask you for a quality comparison between Sydney Grace Vs BK brushes. But I didn't want to ask on the actual video (possibly putting you in the position to say nothing 🤣). I'm sure they're both good, but because I'm decluttering my synthetic brushes (at least 100) I only want to bring in brushes I'll love & use. Nevertheless, I bought individual brushes from BK (used your link ☺️) and just bought both sets from SG (25% off!!). I'll tell you my feelings about BK one day in a private DM... I'll give away what I don't think I'll use. I'd love a video about storage of brushes (and then skincare & makeup). I see you have the Sonia G brush holder but I like to have them sorted by type of bristle & category (concern for the handles with Sonia's). Right now I have her brushes in several places but mainly using a Rephr container with cup but also putting them in the individual (lipstick) holders as well. I just think Sonia's brushes need something special & I hate putting them in one big container and I can't find or see them?! Plus I have them in 2 places (bathroom vanity & dressing table). I need to hire a professional organizer for my friggin beauty products!! 🤣 Ok, now that I've taken up half your weekend??! Thanks 🤍🤍🤍

Cindy! First of all, you have not taken up half my weekend. I love your comment. Secondly, you would be welcome to take up half my weekend anyway because you’re lovely. TheSG brushes are nice. The BK are better. But I’d be very interested in hearing your thoughts when you’ve compared. I am constantly, literally at least once a week, reorganizing my brushes to find things more quickly. I currently do it by brand face and then by brand eye. I’m using the Sonia holders, rephr holders, coffee mugs, Bk beauty boxes (!), rephr paper square boxes. It’s always in a state of flux that is constantly upsetting.

Great question and clearly I owe everybody a ranking video because we have had so many foundations come out this year. I cannot compare it to the hourglass because that foundation is so hit and miss it’s just not a favorite. Compared to the Nars… Someone asked me to compare it to the new Lancome a few minutes ago and the only way I could put it is in terms of fashion. This foundation is a black pencil skirt with opaque black tights and black pumps. The Nars, or Lancome as those two are similar, is a Flowey gauze skirt with bare legs and sandals. They are both beautiful. But they have completely different looks and feels. I like both some people prefer one over another. My silly fashion analogy is the only way I can think to put it. Does it help?

Well, if I were someone who loved a setting powder, I would still happily powder it. There is a teeny bit of tackiness. But, it did not get on the white container, as you saw and it does not transfer to my phone. Do you know how the phone goes black when you’re not using it? And you can often see where your face was up against it? I don’t have that. And I don’t have a transferring on clothing etc. Can I feel a teeny teeny bit of tackiness? Yes. And if I were a powder person I would happily powder it but I never bother to powder and I didn’t have to which I love.

Hello Liza! Thank you so much for the kind compliments. This is such a beautiful Sydney Grace palette. OK. You asked which has better coverage? Definitely the RMS. It is medium to medium full and it doesn’t go anywhere. It feels very light on the face but has the most coverage of the three you mentioned. By far. I didn’t even need concealer when I added a bit more.

I'm trying this as your video is playing. It's hard to describe this one isn't it? It's very very different. Not serum like which a lot of these types of foundations are. It's matte without being dry and texture enhancing. I didn't have to set it either and I also built it up to use as a concealer. I'm hoping this looks as good all day.

From what I am seeing, you might be a little too light in the RMS that you’ve chosen. I was looking at some of the things that find foundations for you, the tools, generally they’re pretty wrong to be honest but all of them are putting you in about a 33. Again, they usually wrong but I’m wondering if they’re right just in the fact that the 22 would be too light?

No. The concealer seems just fine. It is the new wishful under eye treatment. The serum. It has something in it that is akin to retinal so I have no idea if it’s an allergy or a reaction or whatever it is but that is definitely what caused it because I added it back in to make sure. Mistake!

@@daffyduck7235 I have heard really good things about it. You’d be shocked to know that I actually never tried it. My favorite stick foundation is the Tom Ford stick. It’s just that everything he sells is so darn expensive. The new Lancome is excellent if you want something movable and Dewy. And check out the RMS if you want medium coverage.

Hey Rebecca, I wonder if this foundation just "dries down" to it's true color? I've heard MUAs say that oxidation is often used incorrectly (not by you) in that oxidation happens throughout the day, over time, typically on oily skin (which I have and have turned into an umpa lumpa lol!) where as many foundations change to their natural color once it's had a few minutes or so to "dry down" on the skin. Idk if that's true but thought I'd mention it as I am a makeup nerd lol! Btw, this looks amazing. Like something that might be good for acne prone skin like me that sticks/stays in place but doesn't dry out the skin? I might try this for a "spot concealing" foundation. It looks beautiful on you. Like wow. Is it matte or dewy? I love these "MUA" brands, they seem to really hit the nail on the head. Sorry for the long comment lol BTW, I've been dying to try a stick foundation as they are easy. Are there any new ones coming out you'll be reviewing or if not is there a favorite you have? TY!!! 🥰

It is not oxidation which would indicate that it actually changes into a totally different color than what you expect. This one, exactly as you say, turns into the color you expect. So it’s a good thing rather than a bad situation. Exactly. You phrased it perfectly. My favorite stick foundation? Of all time? The Tom Ford stick foundation. It is absolutely incredibly gorgeous. Just the best. And a favorite.
