I know you said you didn’t have the Gold or Silver, but if my math adds up these are better than the Gold straight out the box correct? Same type of blade, the titanium blade, except it’s deep tooth compared to the gold which you’d have to buy the “2.0” blade for that. Might just go with these although I don’t know if that Silver graphite blade makes much of a difference, which is deep tooth out the box as well

Major West in my opinion yes. I just ordered the silver pair to do a comparison video. This blade truly does hit like no other I’ve had so far. I’ve bought countless modified blades for andis and wahl and this performs better and I’m not even zero gapped completely.

I have both gold & silver but I wanted to try that rose gold cus them blade to me seen like they cut crispier tahn the gold fx and the 2.0 they just gd for bulking not for line-ups and thats what a trimmer is for to me

I just got these trimmers. But mine are blinking blue while it’s on. Do you have an idea of why that is? Does anyone else’s do that also?

They blinking is just indicating the battery is running out.. try charging them until the blue light is staying on, at that point it’s full and can be taken off the charger. The light will continue to flash if you’re using it while plugged in

Frantz Romeus as far as performance no they’re the exact same clipper. The only differences is in the blade each blade is slightly different between these the gold and silver. I will be doing a comparison video soon

I just got these off amazon . Haven’t used them yet but I want a sharp a line will I need to zero gap or does it give a good sharp line up straight out the box?

Luciano in my opinion yes you might have to slightly adjust them but I don’t have my pair set zero gapped all the way and it still hits harder than most liners. Zero gapped may be too sharp for sensitive skin or kids

Hey man thanks for the comment but I also had that problem fresh out the box and honestly all I did was take the cutting blade back a little bit so they were as close to being zero gapped and slowly started to break the blade in until I no longer had that problem. I now have them almost zero gapped and rarely pull hair. Try breaking them in by going with the grain on bald shaves

Hey I recently bought the same trimmer and I added oil to it but it get super hot with a minute of using it do you have any idea why ?

Nelson Castro try to take the blade off completely and clean it of any hair or dirt build up. I personally use andis cool care spray to clean and disinfect but it also helps keep the blade cool as well as the clipper motor

There’s honestly no difference in performance, but the sliver fx does have a different blade more like the andis gtx wide tooth blade

Jaggerfee in my opinion the only difference comes with longer fine hair, these definitely go thru it better than blades that aren’t deep toothed

Alexcutz Tv yes you can. I wouldn’t recommend it str8 out of the box because they honestly don’t need it. However if they become worn the blade modifier will definitely help
