Shield Plus is the "softest shooting" micro 9 out there... Not sure what voodoo they used to get it there, but it worked!!!

Loving the CA M&P shield plus so far! Considering the m&p compact or full size as well... tried the max-9 and its ok but the shield plus feels much better to me. So happy to start seeing new handguns on the roster

My wife have problem racking the Shield plus but no problem with the P365. She got a P365. She can shoot accurate control pairs out to 20 yards with it. That's good enough for a defensive handgun. Also, P365 is smaller. She would be more likely to carrying it than leaving it home. And you don't shoot a defensive handguns all day mistaking it for a range gun. Softshooting is not a determining factor to me. I have the Shield. I love it. But Shield Plus does not give me a good enough reason to upgrade. Instead, I also got another P365 for myself to carry in my pocket in hot summer days.

On the Shield Plus, add a few dollars and you get an optic ready slide and night sights. Add a few more dollars to that and you get the performance center model with ported barrel and slide. It's a winner in my book.

Has big hands and he can't control the firearm properly, but that's the gun's fault. Already has disposition for not liking the manufacturer, and relays that into his (ahem) honest opinion on the firearm. Yeah, OK.

The first thing I did to my Sig P365 CA Version was to Disconnect the Magazine Disconnect. I then put an P365X Grip on it, along with an Antimatter Wing. Now it is a MUCH nicer shooting firearm. Also I don't have a problem with Manual Safeties. Lots of folks have and do carry pistols with them. Heck... 1911 and 2011 handguns ALL have manual safeties, and those are popular CCW pistols. LEARN. TRAIN. BE PROFICIENT with your tools!

I have the regular shield plus but bought the optics ready performance center slide so the Shield Plus would be an easy decision for me. I’ll just put the performance center slide on the plus.

Finding a range that rents all CCW isn't easy. I went to one in SJ, but they only had P365, not HellCat or Shield Plus. I usually train myself to adopt the firmware. Great reviews !

@@Shadowdancer777 the P365 IS snappy. multiple reviewers have said this. It’s pure physics look at the size of the thing and then add into that recoil impulse of a 9 mm round.

I have the sig with the macro grip and hellcat pro. Like both equally. HC is a great shooter if you have proper grip strength. Adding weight to the front would probably benefit recoil management. Now I want to get the Shield Plus. Great review guys!

Just picked up my hellcat pro yesterday. Added the 407k and stream light trl7X. Haven’t shot it yet but shot the regular hellcat. Love the way it shot. Just needed a little more grip.

tried the smaller hellcat last week , and because of my grip i kept pressing the mag release on accident , so annoying. besides that , just like you guys in this video , something about it , just feels weird lol

I'd love to be able to buy the P365X Macro, but of course that gun cannot be purchased in CA. I do like the new options, but I'm going to need to shoot some myself to see what I like. However, I know that I hate the dangling pinky grips.
