The Time Altar requiring the enchanted key is quite a clever idea. The time altar in current is long gone but may have been vital upon the introduction of humans from Guthix's involvement. Either there will be a 3rd questline involved, or it'll be accessible from the farm home that you visit in the quest. Or perhaps the elf that spies around the boundaries in there may have something to offer.

calling it, Time Runes are going to be an extremely hellish rune to produce manually. everyone is going to hoard them because the value of generating essence, speeding up some mechanics might be somewhat-seen as resource conversion. (think speeding up research for triskellions+archaeology materials, for chronotes+spell casts). some minor concerns is wherever if the introduction of new Anachronia teleports would render the totem as pointless. another thing is the Expansive Pouch existing while having no-degrade; which sounds good; *HOWEVER*, won't you think that they'll nerf the Runecrafting archaeology perk to make it worse for everyone else because the unstable air rune from ships is so good. imagine lounging around just doing natural runecrafts daily (hood, quivers), the runes you produce just naturally pays for itself and stuff like abyssal titans. now, they'll probably make every pouch degrade for everyone; if you want to have no-degrade, you'll probably have to do some convoluted crafting method. think they'll fumble it extremely hard by forcing people to burn something like a spore sac, or 200 abyssal threads? the limited-introduction of threads by the runecrafting catalyst arguably passively adds more threads into the game. (not counting people who crafts by abyss). also, Sliske's endgame if you don't have access/wealth to make an Expansive Pouch, but do want to make the Runespan pouch last almost twice as long. in 2 years, don't expect Treasure Trail items/Fortunates to hold their value without older items awarding less, or newer (and higher tier) clue items awarding more. the removal of the clue scroll limit is just a weird prelude.

I hope the time rune actually has a crafting animation. That was my biggest letdown from Necromancy: the runes didn't have an animation, you just hold your hands up to the altar and that's it. Nothing cool or fancy happens.

We got "advance time" spell before... An "optimize ship for current voyage" button in ports. The amount of time that'd already save in the ports grind would be ridiculous. As long as they are only buffs and not nerfs to existing content and you need these to reach current standards. Than yeah it's kinda alright? Also I like these because Ive always wanted a way to stop guthix from getting hit. they could give all of his activities buffs and reworks, new quests going after a still living silske due to bringing them both back. Silske Could corrupt the world guardian and idk guthix and you purify it idk, maybe it releases the original and now there's two of each in the timeline idk Swap there minds into eachothers bodies so the original silske and guthix have eachothers abilities and don't know how to work their powers yet. having an evil and good pair working together could also lead to some interesting quests. So much possibility if they dont use them as a game mechanics "slowification" like at least 3 years of content in quests alone that I could think of. *Like imagine an easy quest where -you teleport back to classic and osrs graphics/UI. -In classic you get a party hat of your choice at a recreation of the original event -then in osrs you get to try to fend off the fally massacre bandit with like a full inv of rare things while wearing your party hat, but you die -a ghostly/transparent party hat of that color is put in your bank or inv. Feel like bank would be better because someone might be like where the heck is it and eventually be surprised lol. Idk i just hope they actually include things that make people want to play and interesting quests, but there's a lot of potential with time stuff, and a lot of potential to ruin it all as well.
