Good day to you 2. My name is Nancy single future nomad, I have been on KZbin to gather Information about RV life and I found yours. Thank you for your videos. The reason why I am written is next year I’ll be selling my house in Canada 🇨🇦 and I have been looking for something different. I really like the place about RV property in Tennessee. Hoping they will still have some next year 2025

Hey Nancy I’m Bob from NY via SoFla also looking at land here but waiting to see how the economy/market will adjust! I recently had a 3mo. drive from Nova Scotia to Van Couver & LOVED it! Stay safe!

They said the same thing about “no restrictions” when they were advertising Gulf Mist Landing in Florida…. Turns out that was a lie 😢
@wingwalker27 Жыл бұрын
It's a good concept. I like the no restrictions things. But having said that, people usually ruin everything by taking advantage of a good thing. Hope it works.

I do to. I don't need a communist HOA telling me how I can and can't use my property.

Go on this 5 acre property. Where is the water and electric and sewage? Is it at the property line or do you have to put in a septic tank and the electric and water is at the property line or what

That’s because it was a commercial. This couple did the same type of commercial when they bought property in the first development. For people looking for something like this they are interesting videos.

So you have to run all the utilities and stuff I wonder what the cost of that is

$89,900 to live in a trailer park without utilities
@nancysala7769 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffsmith4525sweetheart, this is no trailer park. 89k gets you 5 acres, which is the minimum that you can buy. We have 7 acres and are building a house. The beauty of where we live, is that you can do anything with your property. We live in a wonderful community.

What us the average costs of having a Well, septic and utility installation?
@nancysala7769 Жыл бұрын
It depends, We are building a house and have 2 RV sites, so ours was more expensive, than just putting in an RV site. For us, it was over $30k for the well, septic, and electrical. For the well, it depends on how deep they have to drill to get water. For the septic, it depends on how many bedrooms you’ll have, for instance, if it’s just an RV site, then it would be considered one bedroom. For the electrical, the consideration is how far away from the pole you are and if you want the electrical underground or above. So, it’s kind a hard to tell you how much it cost. I can just tell you a ballpark of what it cost us.

This helped...thanks. id love to know if there are any sites on the resale market....any agents out there that could help with locating resales?

Too, expensive without power, as a builder would rather rent an Rv space and save my money.

I’m a retired firefighter, unexpectedly widowed. I’m looking for a peaceful place to set my RV, my own piece of land that I can take care of. I don’t drink, no drugs, vape occasionally. This seems to be what I’m looking for. I visited a tiny home community and was deeply disappointed at the way it was kept up. Nobody was doing anything to keep it clean, orderly. I want like minded people who will take good care of Their property. They pushed my closing back 2 weeks, fingers crossed there will be a little piece of Tennessee for me.

What county is this land in and do they offer electric or water to the land

It's in Lewis Cunty and electric is available. You drill for a well to get water

There is currently a $1000 a year road maintenance fee. Electricity and fiber network to all properties most need a well and septic. Some that are on the highway have city water.

I thought they were, too. And, I would bet that’s the reason for this ‘infomercial’. They are probably benefitting moniterily by doing this. It has disappointed me greatly.

You cannot get away from bad weather or from the elements. I was born and raised in California so earthquakes were the norm, and with global warming you run into bad weather eventually. But having an RV you can move and relocate until the storm is over.
@gbmarie836 Жыл бұрын
I’m questioning if I would want it as RV land when these people plan on building homes. Down the road that would change the flavor of it for me if I want an RV place that will be surrounded by sticks and bricks.
@janicecrockett1400 Жыл бұрын
Selling land with no type of restrictions is bad news. You all just come back in 2 or 3 years and you will see something beautiful go downhill. I hate this is going on in Tennessee. People buying this land are just looking for a windfall. They will rent stuff out, make multiple campsites on their property, allow people to build shacks. It’s basically raping the few large areas of land we have left and I deeply resent this trend.
@BBStyles77711 ай бұрын
Meanwhile, the HOAs ruin Florida. It is so ridiculous what you can and cannot do in your own driveway it is ridiculous. Moderation is key. Both extremes can be bad.
@janicecrockett140011 ай бұрын
@@BBStyles777 I agree with you concerning HOAs. They can go to extremes especially if they have control freaks running them. But, some county restrictions concerning building and dwelling codes are not bad. They can protect safety, property values, and use of the land. Hearing ‘you can do whatever you want’ with a piece of land makes me nervous. Especially when development companies move into a area, make as much money as possible and then move on.
