Congrats to the new S580! Its also nice to see the good condition of your old R560. Not easy to keep that in 6 years of groupage work, like you did. Stavros, that R looked just like factory lol. Johnie is a good man, maybe next time let him paint the R like the diesel cap it won't come off. Good luck with the new truck cuz, I worked in America 30 odd years. Mostly fleet trucks which were the bare, basic workhorse. Many times wished for a European truck especially getting into tight spots. But it was always great to get a brand new truck. I knew your dad back in the day, I ran my own operation in Kilkenny. Anyway whether he remembers me or not give him my best regards.

I had a sudden stiffness of my steering and it turned out to be the gaitor on the bottom of the steering column, take the shroud of by the foot brake the gaitor was tightly wrapped around the column stopping the the steering wheel from turning, scania fitter said it's a common fault and knew what it was straight away 10min job removed it no problem ,3yr old truck. 👍👍👍
