I remember this series with John Carlisle and John Woodvine, I think Clve Francis is the son of Raymond Francis of No Hiding Place. Clive is artist, you can see his work during the credits of The Piglet Files in which he co -starred.

I've never seen any NEW SCOTLAND YARD episodes beyond Season 3 -- I see they had a total change of cast in Season 4! I'd welcome any more episodes from this season....but just generally speaking, from over here in the US, I'm really enjoying the British television programs you've been uploading!

Thanks for the comment! I'm afraid I only have this episode of season four, it was included as a bonus feature on a DVD.

The villain's sister is a very good actress. She would also play the posh wife of the Island doctor in Enemy At The Door.

The character who runs the bar should be arrested for wearing that shirt. Lol! Thank you for uploading this episode . very enjoyable.

I think the catch-all excuse in these circumstances is generally, "It was the '70s!"

I love this series, but I have only seen series 1,2,3 of it. Not 4, do you have more from series 4? And as always I bug you about Frank Marker (Public Eye) any more there also? Keep up the GOOD work, it is very appreciated. Thanks!
@FoogouFilms Жыл бұрын
Sadly I don't have any more episodes. This one was an extra on a Strangers DVD (also some Crown Court episodes appearing in the near future featuring Don Henderson). Regarding Public Eye, I think I've got a couple more already uploaded and scheduled to be published over the next couple of weeks, but I'm having issues just lately with finding enough time to prepare one video a day, so may well be scaling back to stuff that isn't anywhere else on KZbin. As far as I'm aware, you can find all the Public Eyes available on YT. Cheers.

I am quite conflicted by this episode. Spoiler ahead : Yes, Joe was a complete psycho but I felt his reason for killing his wife was kinda justified so in a way, I was somewhat pleased he managed to kill her.

TV drama was heavily impacted by the invention of mobile phones. No more dialling on the old phone and jumping into phone boxes. In modern shows, detectives spend a lot of time talking into their mobile phones. In the old shows, the whole dramatic narrative was influenced by whether or not someone answered the phone.
