Hey! You might want to look into harvesting honey bee propolis (bee glue) and using it to treat honeybees. It's been used for millennia to boost immunity and an initial research study done by my friend reported 1000 Fold decrease in fungalspore and viral loads in his hives after feeding them their own propolis in sugar water. Something to experiment with.

I am in awe of this man, but we need to put the brakes on this enthusiasm! There are plenty of men every bit as accomplished in thousands of fields you never even think of. There is very much a romanticism about doing all this stuff by hand and it is certainly skilled and takes enormous dedication to master. This man is certainly worthy of our respect and admiration. But let us not forget there are men designing machines that will make hundreds of every single thing in this video just about every single day or even hour in some cases.

I second this statement! Additionally, even though others may have done a video on an idea, each of us is unique, and brings a fresh perspective to any task. The challenges, insights, mistakes, and successes that Mr. Egorov shares with us would not be boring or unoriginal, even if there were dozens of videos on the idea. I hope he shares as much with us as possible, because so many interesting ideas seem to pour out of his head.

@@itatane I think part of his sentiment of not wanting to be unoriginal is partly because these projects take time and effort. Therefore, I speculate he wants to ensure originality in order to have the greatest impact possible rather then adding to a trend for a similar amount of work. Greetings from Bergen, NY, USA I found your channel tonight by shear luck. I was fascinated by your skill and attention to detail. Those two qualities are hard to find anywhere in the modern world any more. I'm 79 now, and my father was a carpenter long before power tools. I never saw him work, he was my age when he passed, and had already retired. I wish he could have watched this with me, I'm sure he would have enjoyed this also. Let me say one more thing, if there were more people like you in both our countries, this old world would be so much better off. I'll be starting on a quest to see what else you have in store for me! Count me as a new friend on line! ~ Paul ~

Sometimes, while I'm watching your videos, I realize that my face is in the jaw-dropped position from amazement. On the other hand, I thought I was the only person alive that not only worried about bees but also worried about the wasps. When my neighbor came outside with wasp killing spray to kill a nest near our back doors, I had a hard time convincing her that it would be better to knock the nest down at night. Finally, she relented, and I knocked it down at dusk so they would live to build one someplace else. Most people grab for the spray without thinking about the insect and the runoff into the soil. I thought your comment on the real price of bread was very interesting. The amount of work our ancestors did for a loaf of bread or a linen shirt is awe-inspiring.

I don't know if you will read this comment since I'm commenting this quite late, I really love your videos and as a Swede I too spend a lot of time in our harsh north climates. Recently I've been getting into making a lot of things in the kitchen and I think you can probably be able to make some good jam, I think it will taste good with that homemade bread on days you need extra energy. Here is my recipe which I've been developing: Put some wild berries into a pan and add some lemon and preserving sugar, tasting as you go along to get the right taste for you (regular sugar works as well but you need to cook your jar then to make sure that it doesn't go bad). The berries will break down and become thicker when the water starts to evaporate. When you feel that it is the right consistency you can pour it into a mason jar (:

He deserves every 'like' a thousand times more than millions of others with their useless videos which or either of very low content quality, or are cynically piggybacking on the work of others as is the case with many of these 'review' videos which supposedly review other's videos. Not with Max. He is the most *genuine* of genuine articles, and mastery of workmanship including his video production of said content.

I wouldn't worry too much about other people making similar content; what makes your channel great is the passion you put into both your projects and the quality of the video production. You are always bringing an original viewpoint and approach that makes all of your content rather addictive for anyone with an interest in cultivating their own DIY spirit.

This channel is an easy 9/10. Discovered it lately and it doesn't stop to surprise me. I get that you can't watch every video of the channel in one sitting or watch it fanatically like it's a TV series but quality wise this channel deserves a huge bravo. Words are not enough to explain

Great work!🌻 Love that your enunciation & the pace of your speech are easy to understand & comfortable for taking notes. I'm looking to buy my own semi-wilderness lot. Most of all, I want a water wheel, as I can see I won't be strong forever, but I prefer the quiet of non-motorized tools, and, already, I fear the race for time. (I'm considering offering free seperate lodging to young enthusiasts who are willing to work with me on my projects part-time). While I live in the Eastern US, I do know from travels in Austria, that people can get water wheels to work with no visible creek, by cutting drainage troughs accross a stretch of mountainside & wonder how one determines this viability for buying a property - does it work everywhere? Would love to see how you built your waterwheel set-up. And the jig for cutting tires. Again, great job! Thank you!🙏

Hi Max, I've been your subscriber for a while now, and I love it every time I see that you have a new video. You put so much time and effort into your projects and then you repeat your efforts to produce wonderful videos for all of us who would like to be more like you. Congratulations. Your channel is amazing, full of inspiration and educational at the same time. Your voice is soothing, you really research the terms you use for each item in order to be very accurate and your words are so humble and full of respect. Thank you so much for your contents. Your philosophy on beekeeping also caught my attention. I do believe myself that intense beekeeping (where the bees are deprived of more than 60-70% of their yearly honey production) is one of the reasons for the weakening defences of our little friends. I would love to hear more about your approach.
