Max, just because I believe you'd want to know this: I know in Russian "весло" means both - oar, and paddle, but in English there's a difference. An oar is attached to the boat via an oarlock which acts as the fulcrum. A paddle (single bladed or double bladed) is not mechanically linked to the boat, but rather, is held with both hands.

I'm curious how this will go in Australia. I'll try and whip up a few hives this coming winter. If nothing else I'm considering offering some beekeeping courses and it'd be neat to show some alternative hive options.

Maxim, Did you live in the USA or GB during your formative years? Your English is flawless. This is extremely rare for those coming from eastern block and Russia. I’m told the language structure makes it challenging to gain mastery of English from Russian and vice versa. In any case, your mastery makes it enjoyable to listen to your narration. It’s relaxing.

Nice to see the beauty of Laatokka and that it's islands still have it's finnish, or karelian names. It's a shame it fell to greedy hands in history. But I'm glad it's enjoyed by people who appreciate it's beauty. Thank you for your videos and your effort. Greetings from Finland.

@@adekvate I was mostly speaking of the oppression of fenno ugric languages. The area has long been inhabited by people of many origins, many here have sore memories of being driven away from their home and being treated bad in Finland as well, as many did not view them as Finnish either. It's a sore spot for many. Finland had long been under the rule of Sweden and Russia, despite having its own culture and languages. Sami people are similar here today and when you travel north, many places have Sami names and I'm happy they have not been replaced by Finnish ones. There, I expect many places to have names of fenno ugric origins, as Russia has many language minorities and cultures of such roots. I expect it to have many russian names too. I might have let my emotions to get the best of me, as I have family, like my father, who had their home destroyed and had to leave as a child. But people responsible of those circumstances are now long gone.

The name for the catamaran has to be 'Red Fox' as it glides as silently as your friend sneaks around your camp. Plus the lovely colour of the wood matches this name. Plus, such a cool name!

Hey where do you get the bottles etc? And those white fittings? Also use galvanized screws to attach to the trees. I used galvanized nails in Hawaii where rapid chia death is a real problem. The Ohias with the galvanized nails are doing better than the surrounding trees. Zinc is a critical immune system element. There are also tree saver straps made for winching on a tree.

First moment I saw him cut open a bottle I said to myself "That's some nice clean honey"! I worked for several beekeepers, good size operations. One guy had some new comb and boxes among a lot of old ones (800 hives). The new ones with the nice clean comb was just pretty. The old boxes and frames were just ugly. And the honey from the old ones was grotesque beyond compare. Slum Gum, dead bee guts, eggs liquid, gnarly! This method is for humans. My hat is off to you. Just excellent. I have 3 acres in Hawaii that I want to start some colonies on. And I was about to buy boxes and frames etc. .I'm looking seriously into this method as of right now.
