This product interest me the most out of the GLW series. For those good condition headlights, I think 3” p3000 trizact wet sand and follow up with headlight restore polish on an orange foam with that SPTA setup will do wonders. Of course could opt to seal with meguairs headlight UV coating - but no panel prep, bc polycarbonate actually needs oils since it’s porous and will dry up without ; of which the 3D claims to have good UV blocking oils. What would you recommend as far as pad for going over headlights that are in good shape preparing for a coating? Or just decontaminate and coat?

What foam pad are you using to polish the paint? I would use the same pad, unless the headlight needs special attention, those are my thoughts...

I got this and was sceptical at first ,but it surprised me! Clarified my headlights and brightened them up then I applied wax .good product, Obviously not for the severed oxidized headlights that need sanding.

Well conserving the wheel cleaner,I was expecting a concentrated for value,so I might as well try there yellow wheel degreaser for 5 dollars more..

A can of spraymax 2k Glamour cost about 20-25 dollars depending where you buy it Sand paper is cheap Sand it down Start with four hundred Work up to 800 grit Finish with horizontal strokes Make sure the lens is uniform in appearance Mask of the headlights and protect the car paint First coat light with 95% over lap Let it sit for ten minutes Second coat should be heavier with 50% overlap See how it looks If it’s not to your liking wait ten to 15 minutes and do a third coat If you get a run or drip mark leave it be After an hour remove all tape and protection Allow 24 hrs to dry It can get wet at this point but avoid washing it for 30 days If after 30 days you have any imperfections they can be lightly sanded out and then buffed Your headlights will be crystal clear and last for years and years and also have UV protection This is a much better way to restore your headlights They look brand new ( showroom new ) They are UV protected They will last for years All for about 30 bucks totaled.

FYI...first of all thanks for introducing another new product. I would probably try 3D One before I would order a specialty product? The more you spend on chemicals, the less $$$ goes into your pocket...

I agree. The GLW line was made for the consumer market, but 3D One can definitely take it's place with the right pad.

Check out Dallas paint correction on KZbin. He does a 2 part tutorial on headlight repair, using sandpaper. Then finishing it. Pretty good series.

Oh I'm well aware of DPC his videos have been around for many years now. I know how to do headlights, I'm just showing a new product here.
