I like the belmonts who play real neutral with the whip a lot and then do some amazing ledge trapping with those specials, which is what i see here. Most players forget they have an A button.

Hey Dom, as a fellow Belmont player your videos are an inspiration man. Keep up the good work. I just watched your match against Leo at MSM Zero. Congrats on making it to Grand Finals man, that's really impressive for a Richter player. What are your plans for the future when coming up against top level players who try to counter pick you with a terrible match up like Leo did?

There is no plan. As a richter main myself I know the best DOM can do is go for the easier set ups to secure stocks and try to play passively. As you might know as well, Richter is more like a counter pick character and he only counters very few matchups. Using him as a solo character is suicide. THAT is how badly Sakurai fucked up the Belmonts

@@J242D Nah he's amazing but lots of players have beaten him. Dom is just fighting an uphill battle if he's against a player that good, and has a bad match up to boot. Knowing how to play bad match ups with the Belmonts is critical, which is why I was hoping Dom had some tips for how he plans to do it.

Yes, but it’s very limited. If you buffer fullhop cross and do down air right by the edge of the stage, you can actually make it back
