Hi Brittany, I really like the tweed material. You remind me when I went to Jomar (Philadelphia, PA), I saw some tweed material for $2.00 a yard. I purchased 8 yards & paid $16.00. However, I still have not made anything 😮😊. Hopefully, I will be making something soon. 😂 thanks for sharing!

I bought a bunch of Sara Flex spools earlier this year and still haven’t used it due to time, but am so excited to use. I hate zig zag stitch and the double needle hems with a regular machine. I don’t feel like buying a cover stitch just for hems either so am hoping the Sara flex will be the miracle I was looking for. 😊 The ironing mats are interesting too! I may have to look into that.

I am about 70% through the mccalls jacket pattern doing view B and I am so proud I made it through the welt/gusset pockets I’m scared of the zipper and the snaps. I want this jacket to be long lasting so I hope it works out. I used hounds tooth denim from Joann’s.

Yasss! That’s awesome! Before doing the zipper and snaps on your jacket, test it out as many times as you need on scraps and you’ll nail it! ❤️✂️

Two words for you: Zipper Tape! It’s a long zipper, rolled up, that you can cut. It comes with zipper pulls. You bar tack the bottom end. There are tons of KZbin videos “how to.”😇 Happy sewing 🧵!
