Ok, ok, hear me out This is my gigantic theory that has nothing to do with the books but whatever. For this theory, let’s pretend they all know some human songs. Maybe from a trip to the Lost Cities or they all stole Sophie iPod and took turns listening. Because you can’t tell me it didn’t happen at some point. Anyways, each elf has a very distinctive singing voice, and their ability or abilities has some influence on it (for instance, Biana can make her voice fade out our fade in really well due to her Vanishing abilities, Tam has a bass voice that makes you have goosebumps, because, you know, dark emo boy Shade). And Keefe over here, well, he is INSANE. Since he’s an Empath, he can sing through 9 or 10 octaves low or high, and each one makes the person who’s listening feel a different emotion (People with inflicting have a similar effect, except it’s probably more intense and probably more devoted to negative emotions). So, one night, Sophie has insomnia, when she suddenly hears Keefe singing to himself down the hall (imagine they live with the Black Swan or one of them is having a sleepover). She starts feeling really sad all of a sudden, and she walks to his room. Keefe is singing Broken (by Anson Seabra, check it out, there’s an animatic of Keefe with it) and he stops upon seeing Sophie in the hall with uncontrollable tears in her eyes. Keefe and Sophie know the reason why, and they both know he doesn’t want to talk right now. Keefe also knows about Sophie’s problems with sleep. So, Keefe beckons over and starts singing Wolf (First Aid Kit) and Sophie falls asleep for the first time in someone else’s room. Keefe doesn’t mind the drool, but ouch, there’s a bad crick in his neck in the morning after falling asleep shortly after. (Optional) Keefe starts singing some random high pitched song to wake her up (because it would instill fear) and it wakes up everybody in the nearest 10 miles. Keefe light leaps to the Sanctuary to avoid angry elves at 5:30AM in the morning. Keefe: yOu mAkE mE fEeL sO _hIg-HiG-hIg-HIGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH_ Every elf in the nearest 10 miles: *screaming bloody murder* Sophie: *preparing her sucker punch* Keefe: haha *i’M iN dAnGeR.* Holy crap that’s a long comment oh my god I’m so ssoorrryyy Edit: simple mistakes

So I have a theory... I came up with it when book 8 was still in production. But some of the textbook at 8.5 has kind of confirmed it? I think Blur is jensi older brother.It didn’t really make sense at first the only reason I thought it was because Jessie’s older brother is the only phaser besides that one teacher in the very beginning that we’ve been introduced to. But an 8.5 there is an excerpt about blurb that says he’s tall with a round face and thin lips. That’s the exact same description that they used for Jensi in the very beginning of the series
