I made my own sheo deck when i first saw the card. I like finding videos about it to see what else others have done and while i usually see most of what i already picked out, I still find interesting outliers. Deck eats nekusar and just about any draw base deck i've ran into and practically demands removal resources focus on it. A card not mentioned in your video is Starscream. It weaponizes your own card draw as long as you have the monarch, making it synergize well. Mindcrank was mentioned in another comment, which functions as a defense against creature copy decks [as well as erebos] while being pretty nasty in general. Anvil of Bogardan is lovely and synergizes with tinybones for more personal card draw. Pact of the serpent is a highly valuable card as an anti swarm cast with affordable value. Another card i'd suggest is K'rrick or however it is spelled as you can turn your life gain into spell fuel. Also Skirge familiar lets you turn your own excess card draw into fuel. Finally, I also recommend a Kozilek, butcher of truth. You largely will never cast this, but instead use it to recursion your own deck. I haven't updated my decklist since making it and making changes. I love playing this deck but have to limit how often each week as it has potential to be quite oppressive which makes it unfun to play and no one likes that. So I take my play or two a week [more if i get different pods] and play other decks to keep it from being frustrating to play against.

Aetherflux Reservoir is also a great way to dump out all that extra health for a knockout punch, especially if you've pulled off the Lich's mastery and netted yourself like 180 health (also I'm going to add reliquary tower for the Lich's mastery combo to hold my deck in hand for the rest of the game)

How do you go about researching all these cards? Do you have specific resources or is it just a plethora of places

Thank you! Glad I could help out. I do WAY too much research on a few sites but mostly the app I have on my phone and Arckidect.com. I play them against decks I use and decks my friends use and try to get the highest win ratio possible before making any recommendations. Of all my decks this one had the highest win ratio.

If you’re going to run Mindslicer, try playing the hideaway land Howltooth Hollow. It comes in tapped and produces {B}, and has Hideaway 4. If you pay a black mana and tap it, you can cast the hideaway card, but you can only activate it if no player has cards in their hand. It combos quite well with Mindslicer.

That actually sounds really good. Though I think that would work better with Tegrid instead of Sheoldred just because more often than not they'll have tons of cards in hand.

One quick note, since drawing a card at the start of draw phase is a state based action you draw the card first before Teferi’s puzzle box can trigger and go on the stack so in fact you are dealing/gaining an extra 2 life because of this.

Dont you gain life per card you draw? Since it states draw that many cards which depends on the amount of cards you have? so if I had 3.. I draw 3 and gain 6 life?

@@delsdecktech7744 that’s why leovald got banned. You would draw your card for turn, then puzzlebox your hand away and now you can’t draw any cards. You no longer have a hand and lose from that point on.

I wanted Leovold so badly. I pulled 2 from the draft box and he was gonna be my first custom made commander deck. Then BOOM he's banned. I wanted to flip a table

That card is dope! A black spell slinging deck would absolutely love that spell. Or run a bunch of cheap artifacts that essentially are free and then BOOM drain them death.
